June 02, 2010 WhiDi: Capri Pasta reminds reader of Italy "When I try superb food, I feel that the world should know," says Vikram Birring. And Birring would like you to know about Capri Pasta (25602 Interstate 45 North, No. 101, Spring). But first, "a small background about me," he says. "I did a study abroad in Sicily in 2007 summer. Since then, I have been disappointed by all Italian food in the States, since it can not match up. "That was, until I walked (into) Capri Pasta ... I was shocked and amazed at how good the food was. It was not just good, but spectacular. It was like I was in Italy all over again. In truth, I am sure all Italians can cook this well at their homes in Italy but to have that food here is truly a gift from God and I believe (the owner) just wants to share her gift of food with people, which is an Italian custom. I truly believe you should give this restaurant a try if you have the chance, for I promise you will not regret it." I was kind of surprised. The dentist told me this morning. Everyone at the office was buzzing about it too. Kind of funny. I'm sure it will be forgotten about tomorrow. The restaurant really is good though. The lady who owns it appreciated it a lot. I hope it helps her business because her food is excellent. The pizza places are good too.

It's really far from where I live...but I think I might try it later tonight (if they're open). I read a review that said they open at weird hours.
I think they're closed between 230 and 5 here's the official hours from website I've never had problems with their hours here's what I got from the web site Mon - Thur (lunch): 11:30 am - 2:30 pm Mon - Thur (dinner) 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Friday (lunch): 11:30 am - 2:30 pm Friday (dinner): 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm Saturday: 11:30 am - 10:00 pm
