Luther that is. This rookie has been playing outstanding basketball for us, he's exactly the player we needed in our backcourt. He's the only guard outside of TMac that is hitting their shots and able to get some dribble penetration. He's quick enough around the picks that he either gets a free layup or he can create for others like he showed tonight. Luther has a very bright future in this league. I wonder he could be putting up ROY numbers if he started? I WANT MORE HEAD!!
I dont know about rookie of the year numbers but I wonder if he could be in the 3 point contest during All Star weekend.
Why do they keep saying that Head is playing out of his position? He seems to be a good point guard to me. He doesn't make many turnovers, he's good at driving and distributing the ball, and he makes open shots.

I wouldn't say out of position. I would say he is much better playing as a SG than a PG. He is good running around the screens and popping out for the shot or spotting up for a shot.
Can you beleieve he's sixth among rookies in scoring???? The guy barely plays lol... and of course he drills his 3's and makes his FTs... he's pretty quick on D also... gotta love this guy, might be an all-rookie first teamer if he gets more PT
Head can shoot! And after Tmac, Head is the best (and the only) one who can penetrate the perimeter. He still make stupid mistakes, such as the foul at the end of 3rd, and I hope he would learn the lessens as he plays more in the league.
There was that period when JVG was putting Head in for 40+ minutes a game. I think he is best off the bench, a good 25-30 minutes a game.
Rumor is that he jumps out of the buiding too.....I hear from a few Illini friends that he would be better suited for the dunk contest....just what I am told, not what I know.
I don't think Head will be able to put up the numbers Chris Paul has with NOKC. Paul is playing big minutes, putting up the stats, and making the difference on a team that sucked last year. That's a troika that Head can't overcome with 30 mpg on a team with T-Mac and Yao. Oh, and as Kenny so ingeniously said, BOOM! HEAD SHOT!!!
