I love Cat. He plays with so much heart and he works so hard at everything he's asked to do. He's a athletic, a good defender and can carry a large portion of the scoring load if needed. If other players are having an off night he can pick up the slack and make tough shots. Ya'll were criticizing him for taking too many shots and not passing enough, well he's improved, by quite a bit actually. At the expense of his natural game he is fitting in much better. His rebounding has gotten better, his assist numbers have improved, and no he doesn't hate Yao. Plus he's Francis's buddy. :)
He's got loyalty, he signed with the rox for less money, so he ain't greedy. He's probly the rox best contract for what he brings. Fans haven't shown him the appreciation he deserves.. ever. Last season he busted his butt trying to get wins, playing while injured too. He plays so many f'ing minutes (really, what are the coaches thinking sometimes?, they're gonna burn him out, or maybe he's really just in that good of shape), and he's determined. He loves the game and his teamates, unlike some other greedy players out there who take the money and run or disappear.
I really admire him, second round draft pick, 6'4'' playing the 2, not making as much money as he could be and somewhere between second and third option on offense... yet still playing hard, trying to do whatever it takes to win. And the coaches really do need to define his role a little better. The rox have so many capable scorers, it's nice having such balanced scoring (like in today's game everybody pitched in and scored). The coaches need to come up with a more coherent game plan utilizing the talents of all the players.. hopefully they do that over the summer. Again, Mobley brings so much to the court, D, offensive threat, quickness, heart, and comraderie. He's a lot of fun to watch, makes the game a bit more exciting, and a definitely a good player.

No matter how much you guys hate Mobley, I really don't think he's gonna go anywhere anytime soon, so you might as well learn to love him or get used to him. I personally still like him and the offensive depth he brings to this team. Also, inconsistent as it may have been, he's shown us he can play defense when called upon.

And I mean really, as of lately, how many times can you really point a finger at him as the cause of our losses? He's almost always played at least as well as the rest of our starters. Plus, have u noticed how much his attempts have dropped??? And I've seen enough games to believe that Mobley does try to get Yao the ball a pretty fair amount of the time, regardless of what most people think, but that's still an area that needs work. People always just need a scapegoat...
