did anyone else hear him complaing about Portland not offering Brian Grant enough money to stay? Guh. I guess he doesn't realize that Grant probably has THEE worst contract in the NBA and is an incredibly average player. He's probably the most untradable player in the entire NBA.
What are you talking about?? He made fun of him at the end of the game when Bill said i feel sorry for him going against Yao he cant win & Calvin said i dont feel sorry for him he makes 80 Mil to do that and started laffin (kinda like the dosnt earn his money kinda laff). I dont think you heard that?
Calvin was just syaing he couldn't feel sorry for ANY player who made that much money...he wasn't singling out Grant.
Yes he was every1 singles our grant becuase he realllly DOSN'T deserve that kind of $$, Heat have to many over payed under achiving players and Grant is #1 on the list
Oh man...I don't want to have a back and forth argument with you because you're obviously a brick wall, so this is my last response Calvin Murphy clearly stated that Portland should have kept Grant and that they should have offered him more money that Miami. He never once stated that Grant didn't deserve the money, nor did he ever knock him. Bill didn't knock him either. he just said he felt sorry for a 6'9" guy going againt a 7'5" guy. Listening comprehension. Look into it. Calvinsimply said he could never feel sorry for a NBA player (not Grant specifically) who makes that much money.
Hmm am i the brick wall or are you?? anyways it dosnt matter at all Grants has nothing to do with the Rox and lets hope it stays that way
I guess you just have to watch a guy eat sardines and raw onions on white bread to understand how funny that was. In between Calvin's shtick he always comes up with some very good commentary on the game. But the number 1 thing he does better than anybody else including the national guys is the after game interview. He gets these guys to let their hair down and talk about the game and themselves in a way I can't remember anyone else doing. I still remember the interview he had with Baron Davis last year where he had him explaining the New Orleans game plan. Also for those who watched the post game report last night, compare Calvin's interview with Padgett (sp?) and the one (Dang I can't remember his name) had with Steve Francis. No freaking comparison. Padgett is explaining his time in Utah, his mistake going to Portland and how much he likes it here. Francis looked like he couldn't read his script correctly. To those who knock Calvin miss the best things about the guy IMO.
