After a few shots missed Francis inmediately recognized that his shot was off so he (as a star would do) got into another aspect of the game... that being rebounds... assists... getting teamates involved and happy , that is what it's all about , let's face it if Francis would have hit for his avg. we would have won this game rather easily but he did try to do other things to get the win...

Cuttino on the other hand... 24 freaking shots... what we have an Iverson in our hands ? (as far as how many shots he puts up) but doesn't connect much.... a good player would have inmediately recognized it and have done what Francis did and that is to do what ever else it takes to try to win the game... Francis please teach Cuttino that attitude tell him he doesn't have to put up that many shots if he knows his shot is off.. simple as that , he could do other things to help us win.

Also, seing that Cuttino was not hitting for a high percentage tonight Rudy T. should have stopped going to that STUPID play they kept doing for what it looked like the last 5 min. of the game... that right there folks lost us the game.... they made their shots and we did not... simple as that. Once again we are becoming to predictable in the 4th Q. my question is why? w/this personnel we currently have ? the word predictable should not exist !!!!!!!

I agree with you full heartedly 3 pointa.

I think Cat really needs to drive more. Half the time he pulls up for the 18 ft jumper that never goes in. I swear I've barely ever seen that shot go in that much aside from the Portland game! If he starts hitting a few of those shots, then by all means keep shooting them Cuttino! But if he misses his first 2 or 3, then he needs to drive and penetrate instead of taking more of those shots.

good post. I think all of us are thinking that about Mobley.

Not to turn this into a Rudy bash, but it up to Rudy to see what works and what doesn't, then coach the players accordingly. Letting Cat run amok is teaching him bad habits and probably creating bad vibes for the team. Teammates are watching a ball hog jack up shots right and left and losing the game (mostly responsible). Though maybe Rudy called his number that many times and told him don't pass? I'd be a little more pissed as a teammate right now than I am as a fan. And my respect for the coach dwindles ...

I'm not sure I'd blame it on Rudy - the only thing I blame on Rudy is not sitting his A$$ down. Francis should have been in there running the iso, not Mobley. At least Francis was passing the ball, not putting up passive jumpers while none of his teammates werw in rebounding position.

If you look at the set up, it probably called for Mobley to drive and kick it out - that's why everyone else (the other 4 Rocket players) was standing outside of the arc. Why would Rudy position everyone outside like that and let Cuttino shoot a jumper (with no one in rebounding position!!!). First, we need to stop running the iso play for Cuttino - he doesn't make good decisions, but if we do, Cuttino needs to drive and kick the ball out to someone who's open.

I'm really sick of Cat, and it's not just this last game. He's such a ball hog, and doesn't have the credentials to back it up - it's not like he's Vince Carter! But the thing I hate most is that that whenever he makes a mistake, he's always complaining to the refs - it's never his fault.

I am just upset at the fact that they kept going to that same play so much... why ? if it's not working , STOP !! simple as that if it's working , then milk it but please don't be in denial and act as if it is working when it's not cause that = an L simple as that !

Is it Cuttino's fault for not following Rudy's plan ? or is it Rudy for telling Cat to go for it ? if it is Cat's fault then a long talk is in order , if it's Rudy's then CD needs to have a chat w/him .
