    I like Van Chancellor

    There. I said it.

I think he's gotten better each game. He doesn't try to be a clown like Calvin and actually offers some insight that a coach can add. Sure, he's not breaking any new ground but I think he's refreshing.

As tough as it is to listen to VAn talk....once you can figure out how to understand him, he offers some decent insight into the game.

unfortunatly, most cant seem to get past hs accent.

I listened to him one game and I didn't mind him at all. Loved listening to the game.

I always thought Van was fine, but I agree he's gotten better each game. It sure doesn't hurt to have Bill Worrell as his partner.

Edit: Fine? Er... good. I thought he was good!

I just love the fact he doesn't waste time talking about cookies or about when he played. Van sticks to the x's and o's for the most part.

Now if we could just get Bullard to replace Foley on the radio side who offers nothing but stats.

Maybe, it's time for Yao to leave
Lakers is probably a better choice:(

Van Chancellor, Van Gundy (Jeff) and Nick Van Exel are all cool. It would be cool if we could pry Van Exelfrom the Trailblazers.

Van is great about explaining plays and why player do this and that. It is just hard to listen to.

Murphy talk too much about himself and not enough basketball analysis. He was hard to look at with all those expensive funcky suites.

What in bloody hell does that have to do with Van Chancellor and whether he is getting better behind the microphone?

get this thru your thick skull.

    We.Are.NOT.Trading.Yao.

not to LA, not to GS, not to ANYONE.

you California people need to realize that and keep your traps shut about it...we are quite frankly tired of hearing it.

That post came "out of the clear blue of the Western sky", just like Sky King. I think I'll call it a Sky King post.

OOOOOPS!! Did I just date myself?!?

Van for head coach. Fire Gundy now.

I like Van, too. He's doing a good job at the with the tv thing. He gets better each game.

I'd still like to put him down on the court instead of Jeffrey.

Van blows. What insight? Calvin was head and shoulders better in that department.

    I miss Calvin :(

Van is a good analyst, but too boring for color. IMHO, Bill and Calvin were the best broadcast partner in the business, they were just so much fun to listen to.
