we have a team with lots of talent but we are not geling together the right whay. we need better role paleys who come in and do a certain job like a ben wallace. he does the dirty work for the pistons. rebounds and blocks he doesnt try to be the scoring champ every night like iverson, mcgrady, and kobe he does what the team actually needs. alot of players can just step up and score but there arent always players who have the real desire to win. we either need Yao to step up or i think we need a trade no not stevie or cat. we need to stop being so attached to little players like KT or moochie or cato. we need to get someone to bring excitement and desire back in houston. if u ask me steve francis should be a 2 like iverson switched to. look at the nets they dont have a dominate scorer but they all no there roles within 2 years. the rockets how ever have had the basic group of players the last 2-4 years its time for a change like when clyde came to houston. we need our "drexler" now. in other words we need someone with a desire for a ring and not a shoe contract or poster to come help us work for that ring. go rox!!!!
I think the problem is Bush is an idiot; Democrats just want to spend; guns don't kill people; no one can agree if abortion kills people; religions definitely kill; drugs can kill innocent people even recreationally; and then there's Microsoft .... don't get me started. phew: maybe one of these days I'll have to nerve to start my own thread to say that. It must be so much more exhilarating to do it with a cool Thread Title with your name on the Forum page that to use the other politics, abortion, guns, religion and drug threads. [EDIT] . . . ummmm....where am I? I think I'm lost.
Yao1134, name some players we could get for Kenny and Moochie that would bring heart and desire to the team.
"...And then, one Thursday, nearly two thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change, one girl sitting on her own in a small cafe in Rickmansworth suddenly realized what it was that had been going wrong all this time, and she finally knew how the world could be made a good and happy place. This time it was right, it would work, and no one would have to get nailed to anything. Sadly, however, before she could get to a phone to tell anyone about it, a terribly stupid catastrophe occurred, and the idea was lost forever." Hey, what do you know, it's Thursday (at least where I'm writing) Back to basketball. This team needs time. I'm going to be frustrated up the wazoo if the Rocks miss the playoffs again this year, but the personnel don't need to be changed. This team just needs to get smarter, and that's just going to take experience. It took the Israelites forty years wandering in the desert to get to Canaan. But the Promised Land was promised to them. I'm not saying it's going to take us several years to see results, but I'm just as confident that this team will reach the NBA Finals in time. It's just going to be an excruciating waiting process (or is it? Jeff and others have the right idea; we should sit back and enjoy the ride. Must be that Buddhist influence. )
I know what the problem is, you don't break you posts up in paragraphs or sections or anything. Also, spell check would be nice. Try writing your posts in word, then spell check, then copy and paste. Spelling is a minor problem with most of us, but you just need more highschool english classes. Goodbye and good luck!(from Tex,the telephone enrollment exchange from the University of Texas at Austin. Anyone remember that one?)
