I know I hate Phil, and his inability to coach from the bottom up. If the Fakers win this year, it will be the one and only time. Everyone knows Portland has twice as talented a team as LA. The Fakers won't get lucky year after year. Next year they will pay. Several teams I think will be better next year, including Portland, and prove that this was indeed a fluke. They didn't earn it. It was handed to them. ------------------

IMO, the Blazers are undoubtedly the best team in the NBA. One quarter shouldn't overshadow the fact that they dominated the Fakers for a whole series and clearly showed who the better team was. The Fakers deserve one thing. Not a ring, but an asterick. ------------------

I know he walked into the perfect situation in LA and had MJ to carry him in Chicago. He is a good coach, but not necessisarily a great coach. Shaq isn't the "brightest" star in the cosmos, but he can take over a game. Kobe wants to be the "dagger in the heart". He would be really good if he made better shot decisions. Nice Monty Python reference, DaDakota. That movie is hilarious. Anyway, on the game i couldve cared less who won. Now, im a pacer fan because i hate la. Although, im a diehard rocket fan for life. Their good, but NBC overhypes them and i feel there just being forced down my throat. Also, i believe Phil is not that great of a coach, no offense but he always has the teams with the top talent. Also, Im not that impressed with Shaq, he has very little game outside of 5 feet. Although, his clutch free throw shooting proved me wrong. I also hate Portland for Pippen but even said that id wouldve rather seen them win because although i hate Quitten, i hate the Fakers more. Finally, i feel the blazers had the better talent and shouldve won this series but they choked in the clutch tonight. However, i dont think the lakers are dynasty builders as there are too many talented teams out west(ie blazers,rockets ,timberwolves,san antonio if they resign duncan...etc) ------------------

NOW LOOK WHAT YOU'RE MAKIN ME DO! I VOWED TO NEVER POST ON THIS BBS, AND PLANNED NOT TO UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NEEDED. HERES MY THING, TRUE: 1: The Lakers are incredibly overhyped 2: Phil always seems to fall into the best situation possible BUT, "The CAT", to say they don't deserve the win and not to be considered a better team is a joke. No one gives a damn what the score is for the first 47:59, they care what the score is after 48:00. To say "O the Blazers handed it to them" is complete nonsense. The better team shouldnt hand away the game. And yes I am somewhat of a Pippen basher, but I will say the man is a great player and the Blazers are a great team. Shaq was right when he said that this will be a great rivalry for years to come. Ive never been a big laker fan or a blazer fan, so that said, i can say that the lakers are a damn good team and showed that their better than another good team, The PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS.
