I know it's been beat to death, but where are the lower bowl folks?

We really don't have a home court advantage in the regular season, I mean it's a close game but half the lower bowl seats are empty. Hell if they aren't going to the game there should be a system in place where real fans can get those seats and cheer. I'm just so tired of seeing this kind of ****.

It's to cold outside for them to leave their homes

I wish the Red Rowdies could be moved to behind the visitor's bench.

    An expensive, yet effective maneuver.

all of those seats are season ticket holders...those people never come to the ****ing games....the toyota center needs to bring the upper bowl people down once they notice the season ticket holders won't be in attendance

tbh...it's Les's fault. The problem is Compac Center had no real luxury boxes, so they allowed companies to buy as many adjacent seats as they could. But then we moved to TC, with two levels of luxury boxes, but Les allowed those companies to keep their 8 adjacent seats together, rather than imposing a 4 limit, like most teams do. I'm pretty sure the Texans have a limit on best sideline seats, too. If you need more, let us show you our luxury box options.

So, instead of forcing those companies to buy luxury boxes or get only 4, Les allowed them to have more seats than they normally need each game in the lower bowl, which impacted his lack of luxury box sales....shooting himself in the foot...while diehards want just 2 seats and will show up are pushed to the back, making it less appealing to buy.

So, the corporation don't use all their legacy Compaq Center seats them every game, and the real fans are left with less options.

    tbh

The owner is stupid for giving those tickets to corps and ritch people. Now imagine ifanyone could buy that ticket for 50 bucks...you wouldnt see this ****. Honestly its embarassing and I dont see how the owner doesnt see this as I believe he's not all about money.

The Rockets are 22-7 at home now, we do have a home court advantage

This season and last season we had a better home record than Golden State, and they have the loudest fans in the league.

Crowd noise in the NBA really doesn't seem to effect results, the advantage comes from merely being at home, not how good you're home crowd is.

Granted it does look bad though, hate the corporate seating crap.

Is there any way they can let people move down from the top if those seats aren't filled by say, halftime?

It's sad watching replays of some nice plays. You see lots of people in the background not not even reacting; just sitting there with a blank stare. I want to believe they're fans of the opponents...

you do know you can get cheap lower bowl tickets off of flash seats right?

my buddy got 2 courtside tickets for $125 each this past November.

last game i went to, i spent $30 a ticket for 4 seats 20 rows back behind the goal.

so don't say it cost too much, fans can get great deals if they look.

They will all be filled come playoffs, people who complain about those seats here's the prices.

Row 15 behind the goal will cost you average $50-80 a ticket, season tickets $2200 each

Row 15 in the section y'all complain about the "club section" $200-400 a ticket
    Season tickets $8000 each

which on would you buy? all those seats are sold, if you not going to pay for them then why bit%# & complian??

Maybe they should play a video on the big screen during timeouts calling out these corporate "fans" to stop staring at their phone and get off their fat ass and cheer and get loud.

As a fan, im embarrased, it makes the city look bad.
