I have been a big fan of this site for years. And don't get me wrong. I love clutch and the other writers here. But of late the front page rarely gets update. It's like 3 days behind in reporting. Clutch you use to be on the cutting edge of reporting up to date scores and comments on the game. Maybe I messed something. But what is going on with all the good stuff you posted on the front. Sorry if this comes across as a slam. Just wondering if it will get better or am i wishing.
Or maybe since he's not getting paid for this and has better sh*t to do, he decided to take a night off. Damn people, give the man a break.
Fire clutch! He's been underperforming, it puzzles me why people put up with this. I mean, with posters like amed and Summer Song Giver, any other admin would have taken this site to the front page of NBA.com. Clutch's style is boring to read. All his posts looks exactly the same, game after game after game. All he does is change the team names in his posts. A robot could do that. Have you seen any emotion in any of his posts? rox at kings, mavs at rox,...., does he even care for the rockets? Fire clutch now! I'm sick of his ****.
Clutch dont get single cents adminstrating this site, you shouldnt complain much... He, like us, are just houston rockets' fan.... i m more a basketball fan though
I support this too On the real though, I believe Clutch and company are very busy. Maybe they could use a little help in the News and Editing department. I have an experience in this internet and moderating business and I know how hard and draining it can be. Kudos to the crew... War JVG.
For reals Clutch, I could imagine how much work this site takes. You have got to find better ways to capitalize on Yao being on the rockets. As soon as we start winning, this place will be potentially profitable. You deserve to be paid. I suspect many people here are from silicon valley, or is working with internet...they'll know what I mean when I say :where there is traffic, there is money to be made.
I think it's been covered numerous times before, but I don't believe Clutch is legally allowed to make money off a product of the NBA (The Rockets) in any way... as much as he may deserve it! And I'm guessing this site is far too renowned to fly under the radar...
I agree, but I think we should give him until the end of the season to get the site turned around. If he can't, then bring in Phil Jackson. I hear he's running an awesome BB for the Sonics - and look at thier record - that's what I call impact!
The heart of this site is the forums -- all the news you need to know. Anything found on the front page is an extra to me.
Yeah I thought about how Clutch gets nothing for doing this site that is one day going to get me fired from my job for spending more than half my work day on it. I was thinking of us all doing a "Christmas Donation" for the site to give to Clutch, but the funny was that I had no idea how to contact everyone without him knowing! Gotta get Jeff, or DoD to distract him while I make a post, we all donate, then we get someone to delete the post before he comes back. A lot of trouble, oh well Merry Christmas and thanks for the great site Clutch. Pugs
I've known Clutch since 1996 and no one works harder or is more dedicated to something that pays him absolutely nothing than him. His efforts are beyond my comprehension. His willingness to give away services he and I charge thousands and thousands for to businesses every week is astonishing. He goes incredibly un-rewarded and under-appreciated by the "legitimate" sports media who publically scoff at the site but visit with startling regularity to get information. Even the team he supports barely acknowledges his existence and the league he promotes asking nothing in return has attempted to shut him down. Instead of complaining, maybe you should just say, "Thank you" and move on.
This has been gone over and over and over and over... Look back through previous posts in the Feedback section to understand why you cannot profit from a site that uses trademarked material without a license. Besides, does anyone here honestly think this site would improve as a commercial endeavor or would it be just the opposite? If you said "opposite," you'd be right.
