he has a house in my tow, and jame up to the deli counter while i was waiting for my sandwich. i asked him what he thought of houstons playoff chances. he thinks that they are not so good, but 8 is possible. but he also said how amazing Steve is, and how much of a steal Mo was. he said that houston did really well this off season, and Mo probably has a steve smith kind of deal. also we talked about how bad Catos deal is, and that he dosnt know what houston was thinking on that one. well thats about it, but i might want to mention that Mr. Vescey is a nice guy, and every time i have seen him he has been friendly. on that note i hope that you guys dont go spread what ive passed on to the whole world. it may cause him to be more cautious about sharing "a little friendly basketball talk". *peace ------------------

Now we are sure to contend for the #1 seed this year. I wish Vescey wouldnt share his basketball knowledge.

NEWS FLASH....

Peter Vescey Claims to Have REAL Basketball Knowledge

[NEW YORK - Reuters] Peter Vescey, long-time blabber mouth and general gossip merchant for such respectable NBA shows as "Inside the NBA" and "NBA Showtime" was seen speaking to an unnamed Rockets fan in person. Vescey reportedly was overheard making obvious generalizations that are common knowledge to most NBA fans. One bystander overheard Vescey expertly surmising "how amazing Steve Francis is", and "how much of a steal Maurice Taylor" was. The bystander, who refused to be named for the article, said, "Most of us in line were like, 'Duh... And, how much does he get paid for those gems of wisdom??' Most of us think he's an idiot anyway." ------------------

Why are you so mean to the guy...it's true, this Vescey guy did not have anything new to say, but the "Voice" was just trying to share a bit of his encounter with some semi-famous guy... That being said, I really liked the subtle humor in Dogbelly's post .
