That's right...the new football coach at UH called me just now. OK it was actually a recording... He said that he was very happy to be at UH and that they have already started the mindset to win championships...that the first step was recruiting. So he was making his first recruiting call (why he'd make me his first recruiting call is beyond me). Then he said that he wanted to recruit me as a season ticketholder (now it makes more sense). Ummm...yeah...whatever, coach. Good luck Coogs.
Coach Fran called me last night...in the middle of our conversation, his call waiting clicked in. When he came back, he said he'd call me again later, the UCLA athletic director was on the other line.
He really has turned the corner. He is a changed man! I would have thought he would have asked you to assure him you would stay on the line b/c he is a man which commitment to him is the most important thing in life.
