Maybe the Rockets can play an inspired few games and make the Warriors work for it.

Maybe the Rockets can steal a couple of games.

Maybe James Harden will drink a few bottles of A1 sauce.

If nothing else, at least we'll be a stepping stone for the Warriors on their path to greatness.

We can be one of the losing teams in one of those "NBA champs" documentaries.

It'll at least be more exciting than playing the Spurs, or more likely missing the playoffs.

How sweet would it be if we pulled an 07 Warriors vs Mavs?

Not that there's a chance of that happening.

But man, that would be sweet.

These Rockets are consummate Rockets from this season.

I hope they leave the Rockets soon.

which would help the team more?

4 blowout losses vs warriors and no first round pick

    or

    miss playoffs and lotto pick

i prefer the lotto pick. this isn't some young up and coming roster that needs experience. its one of the older rosters in the league. what we need is some young up and coming talent which we can get from a high draft pick.

Man... how hated would the Rockets be if they managed to somehow beat the Warriors in the first round and spoil their chance at history or a match-up with the Spurs.

    Would be glorious.

    I can hear it now.

"In the first round, MVP Curry and the Warriors faced a familiar foe: the enigmatic and tempestuous Rockets. The wild card Rockets gave Curry a fierce showing. Last year's MVP runner-up Harden was in prime form, driving it to the hole on every possession like the Warrior's defense was a big booty ho.

But then the Warriors struck back. Curry bombarded Houston's Achilles heel defense with 19 three pointers in the 3rd quarter. The Rockets came roaring back in the fourth. The corner, however, was too tight to turn.

The Warriors would take game 1. The can would have to be kicked down the road.

*Cue a shot of Harden combing his beard before game 2 with a bottle of A1 and a picture of Khloe Kardashian beside him*"

our only chance at beating the warriors in a series is if Beverley injures Curry in G1 like he did Westbrook.

That would be amazing. I'm hoping for some sort of miracle that makes this happen.

The pick isn't going to be in the lottery. It'll be number 14

Ain't no chance in hellllll that getting a 14th pick is more exciting than playing the Warriors in the playoffs (even if we get swept) boyos.

I hope we move up to 6th seed personally. I see Memphis sliding right on out with the schedule they have left. We have the best chance to move up to their spot.

Warriors in 3. David Stern comes out of retirement to play with Curry, sets the best illegal screens in the business, then re-retires after that series.
