Even if the Rockets make the playoffs, they will lose 0-3 in the first round. Probably due to inept coaching or just basically all of the things that we are used to seeing. No need to mention them again.

If the Rockets just manage to get into the playoffs, I can predict that next year we will see the same old crap. However, if we don't make the playoffs this year then maybe, just maybe with a new arena next year, new uniforms, maybe Les will see that its time for a new coach also. A new beginning lets say.

I just see the same old crap from Rudy next year and the year after that and the year after that....

Hopefully Les will pull his head out of his a$$ and do something about it sooner than later.

The quote from the Bulls announcer on the front page just sums it all up.

I hope you are never allowed to post again.

Its one thing to say your opinion about individuals/coaches, but come on??!?!? This is our team here.

As frustrating as it may be, we have to stick by them. Wishing them to lose so that the Fake Show can have another run at a ring is no way to think right now. Even last year, when it was more than obvious that our team stunk, I would still root for them night in and night out, with the hope that they would turn it around.

All teams lose- remember Sacramento and Dallas 4 years ago, or New Jersey even. How bout this- remember how bad the Rox were late eighties/early, early nineties, when Hakeem was having trouble with the ownership and our team was in shambles. For us that stuck with them, it made the years the years that followed that much sweeter.

As much as this pains all of us right now, I'm sure that Locker Room in Chicago is in a lot more pain than we are. This is when our boys need our support more than ever if we want to help them turn around this funk.

I DESPISE fake fans like you.

It is okay to keep Ruby as the head coach as long as we can get another XO assistant coach to teach players. Phil Jackson is not a great XO coach, but at least he has his assistant coaches!

Your argument has so many flaws in it that I don't even want to point them out.

The point is that fans like you can sit around, clap your hands and hope for hope, but when the whole world is pointing out this team's flaws and the coach is sitting around like Forest Gump eating his chocolates not doing anything about it, then something has to give.

The Rockets not making the playoffs may be the impetus for Les to make a change. If there is no change, history will dictate the Rockets will most likely continue on their current path.

Then again maybe fans like you can go out into the backyard, gather some stones, and rub them together and hope for a change.

Right............lol Phil Jackson. He just has the two best players in the NBA.

OKAY...look at the Dallas Mavericks! They may have one coach that may be bad.....BUT IT DOES NOT MATTER. WHY?!?!? BECAUSE THEY HAVE FIFTY COACHES!!!!!!!!!! They have like a COMMITTEE OF COACHES WHO CAN DISCUSS CRAP. Our assistant coaches are doing OK but I don't know how they are doing. We need to hire someone.

I hope the Rockets do make the playoffs....that's dumb. I hope the Kings don't make the playoffs. So they won't lose to the Lakers again...

Anyways, if we don't make the playoffs...it doesn't matter. The fans will quit watching and they will be screwed and will have to make some changes. They don't have a draft pick, do they?

How many rookies this year who were drafted after Bostjan Nachbar have been good? I don't think we should have picked him...

This is sad but I am leaning towards a coaching change also. I don't think Rudy knows how to coach these new type of players. I think he tries but they don't listen. I just want some consistency. The guys have the talent, they just need to execute. The Rockets have games where they are one of the top 5 teams in the NBA and then they have games that make them look like one of the 5 worst. It is getting old really fast.

Hoping the Rockets don't make the playoffs is stupid though. I never root against my team regardless.

Not wanting the Rockets to succeed equals not being a fan.

On Rudy, his X's and O's are fine. He's never been questioned by anyone in the sport for that. What he HAS been questioned for, and we've seen a lot of it, is his inability to make in-game adjustments. He responds too slowly to developments within the game and it creates problems. You could also argue that his substitution patterns can, at times, be very frustrating.

The common misconception with any coach is to criticize his X's and O's ability, but, again, that is a misconception. His problem is adjusting to the game and, IMO, it has become a significant problem.

The Rudy-lovers on this board are the reason why Rudy isn't fired. The Rox have to keep him for SENTIMENTAL reasons. Meanwhile, the team continues to crash and burn.

Let's hope the Rockets don't make the playoffs, because that will look real bad. If we make the playoffs he definitely will be here next year.

I agree with Jeff. I think we need to bring a better assistant coach. I hope we can hire John Lucas for these in-game adjustments, better coaching for fundamental basketball.

The Rockets can only by saved by failure. Les, Rudy, CD and the Staff must not be able or willing to see what is going on. After this season Les must make up his mind about the Coaching staff, key players and supporting role players. The one big change I would like to see is that Calvin Murphy must be on the Rockets Coaching Staff, next season. Calvin is the one seeing all the problems and isn't afraid to tell the Point Guard to set up his players and pass the ball. He knows that we must have a PLAYMAKER at the Point Guard position. That is our number one problem and he can sort it out!

Some of the fans that can see through those 2 championships are sick of the same type of basketball year after year. Please take that plug out your head that is blocking your mental thought processor.

Rudy is 54 years old. To me, that's ancient. He's kinda old. All old people lose memory. It's time for Rudy to go... :(

But John Lucas? How is he going to do better? He didn't do very well in Cleveland. Maybe we should hire him as an Assistant Coach.

    We need Elton Brand!!!

The sad fact is, not too many good coaches available now. Larry Bird is one of them.

What is the use of Elton Brand if our coach doesn't run plays for him?

Good grief. If Steve Francis isn't a PLAYMAKER at PG, then who is?

Real fans don't root for failure. That's pure idiocy. I hate to pull out the "experience" card on some of you, but our team is one of the youngest in the league. For the love of God, give them time to grow together, and they might just surprise you. It's soooooo not time to hit the panic button yet. Hell, it's not even All-Star break yet.
