    I have seen enough !!

I have tried to get on the Jeff Van Gundy bandwagon, hoping beyond hope that he could turn Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley into smart team basketball players.

I was wrong.....Mobley and Francis are just plain STUPID !!!

Neither one of them understands how to set a teamate up with a pass....and in my humble opinion, one or the other has to go.....

Imagine how good this team would be with someone like Nash running the point....

Yao, Pike, JJ, etc...etc...etc....all understand how to pass, Mobley....Francis? They understand how to dribble and get their own shot.

They are not just bad at passing, they are some of the WORST passers I have ever seen in the NBA....simply TERRIBLE.

A 3 on one fast break in the first half...what does Francis do, does he reverse it to the open guy in the middle or on the opposite side for a layup? Nope, he drives in and misses a contested shot...STUPID !!!

Mobley and Francis are Tweedle Dee, and Tweedle Dumb.

I am convinced beyond a doubt that this team will not win consistently with both of them on the court at the same time.

If someone offered a mid range star for either, they would be gone.

Too much dribble, and too little understanding how to win.....

How many close games are we going to choke because they don't know how to play team ball?

    So far......5.

I am sick of them....I want guards who understand how to set up their teamates....STAT !!!

    FRANCIS no ALL-STAR

Blame Steve Franchise for this loss in Utah, not only did he get schooled by rookies Raul Lopez and Maurice Williams (haha), he turned the ball over 8 times, mostly in crunchtime!!!

I am soOOO sick of his r****ded gameplay!! on defense he underestimates his opponent and fails to rotate on the open jumper, and commits stupid fouls. On offense he continues to choose the most difficult shot as if this is an And1 tournament or chunks the trifecta buzzer beaters, can't run a fastbreak (3 on 1????), commits stupid offensive fouls (slapping his opponents hands??), has no fundamental basketball sense period, and is too cocky for his own good.

His job as a PG is to dish it out and make his teammates better. He has shown nothing this season but SELFISH IGNORANT dribble me to death until it goes out of bounds style of play. this game was won if Cat or Pike were gettin more looks.

Unless JVG gets into sf's head or we straight up trade him for a real all star (package includes mooch and MOT), I don't see the rockets improving as a team. Same old rockets to me, they can't even inbound the ball and are considered the worst fast break teams in the league I wonder why.....

we're gonna get smoked in sacramento!!

    One more thing,

Imagine how good Yao could be if he gets the ball at the right time?

Francis is HORRIBLE at passing, and Cat has never been good at it.....

Please....trade one of them to open up the flow....

Just one time I want to see a fastbreak where the ball NEVER touches the floor......

ICAM, Steve just doesn't have what it takes to lead this team anywhere but the lottery. He has lots of physical talent but much of it is negated by his frequent boneheaded decisions on both sides of the ball.

I think it's okay to have one of them playing at a time with the other players of our team. :) But they look horrible when they play together. THey can't cooperate and play together! They do make some nice plays..but still..crunch time..they just screw up. I'd keep Mobley because Mobley's a better shooter and can maybe be taught how to complement Yao and Mobley's a better defender...I think because he has longer arms. Francis..is still good but he needs to GET IT! haha. just disappointing and sad. Other games..it will be Mobley. Of course we are oging to blame Steve because he is the point guard.

Jackson, Piatkowski, Padgett all good additions. Now we just need to play. I think..we will improve..it's still sort of early.

    Look at Utah's PG's.

How do they come up with Average talented guys who understand the game?

Heck, Matt Maloney would be an upgrade as a passer at the point.

Francis and Mobley are dumber than a box of hammers......

Don't worry DaDa. JVG will help this team get better. If he can't help the team get better by turning around SF and Mobley, he'll ship 'em out. Either way, I trust JVG that he'll get this team not only to the playoffs, but beyond the 1st round.

I have been saying all along that SF is not a point guard!!! He might be better at the 2 but at point guard he does not have the smarts to handle a team. He is very skilled, but he does not use those skills to make other players better. That is the signature of an all star, make other players better. It seems to me that SF wants to take the game over when other people on the team are having good games and somehow he wants to make sure everybody notices him.
In my opinion he is not an all start. There are so many other point guards on the west much better than him.
He has to learn to make other people better if he wants to be an all star!!

yea I don't think it's about coaching anymore at all. JVG is a proven good coach, he has made this team a lot better on the defensive area and they pass the ball better as a team but SF and Mobley are just not a good fit together on this team. This mix of players is just not working, it does not suite there style of play. SF and Mobley belong in the leastern conference where they could score 20 and 30 a game and be a middle of the pack eastern conference playoff team. They are not suited to be featured players in the west. Yao makes mistakes but he is a unsellfish player who is willing to learn. He should be the man on this team.

I agree with you 100%. I would do anything to rather have Baron Davis or Stephon Marbury on my team. The Rockets will be entering the 5th season in the loterry.

they are both hopeless, trade both of them for some all-star performance, and moochie is just downright horrible (our backup point guard). dumb and dumber have to go, and I have faith JVG will have his last straw drawn. there's just no flow in our game, everybody looks uncomfortable and out of sync, just horrible!

Relax DD. It is still early to say SF would not be a team player. He is learning under JVG and making progress. Well, I bash him a lot but still like him very much. The 2 guard will be a better position. I dont think we should trade SF. As for the CAT, he MUST go and I dont care who we get in return!

I agree with all the posts and I have always been saying to trade Mobley and move SF to the 2. Now, I am beginning to think that the team will be better off trading SF. He still has a good value on the market and we might be able to bring a decent pg.
Moving SF to the 2 is going to be a defensive liability and he still is going to think he is the go to guy on the team and make stupid mistakes.

Yao needs to reach down between his legs, and pull his panties out of his vagina to be a man.

How many blocks from 1 foot away does he need to suffer before he realizes he can stuff it down with authority from there?

Yao is playing like a WUSS !!!

He should be dunking anything within 2 feet.....that little soft as a babies A$$ flip shot of his is getting rejected more often than RM95 on ladies drink for free nights.

it's a new everything this year. give them a year or two and see how much they really really improve. from last season to this season, look at how much improvement they've gone through. imagine how good we'd be in a few years.
