    I seem to remember most on this board wanted to get rid of Yuli in the regular season...last year. Wanted Mancini to get the PT.

    has he been the worst regular in mlb this season? fangraphs has him 1014/1018 and only one player has less war with -0.9 to jose's -0.8

    Abreu looks lost at the plate. It seems like we are just waiting for an automatic out. His defense at 1B is not good at all compared to Yuli. Seems like he is working on his beard nowadays than his game.

    I do not understand the relevance of Yuli in this discussion. This is about the Astros and Jose Abreu. Yuli has nothing to do with either.

    This signing is scaring me for sure but it’s still early. I’m concerned but I’m not willing to call this a bad signing yet. Hopefully Abreu pulls himself out of this.

    Anyone complaining about Abreu better start looking at Bregman’s numbers too.
