Sorry in advance for being a pain in the a$$.

But my browser has been hijacked, I already ran Adaware and Spybot.

I thought the problem was solved, but after I reboot it returns

    What can I do ?

Did I forget to mention how smart I think all of you are:D

Unplug youself from the internet, first of all, so that you don't infect anyone else.

Then boot off a emergency bootable CD that has latest anti-virus updates on it. Then run software that finds trojans. Then run spyware. Then run ad-aware.

Don't have one of thoses disks?

Take your hard drive out and connect it to a clean machine that can scan it and clean it for you.

Would the emergency bootable CD be my Norton disk ?

    Kinda,

you should have created a different one with updated virus definitions. That bootable disk that came from norton probably has virus definitions that are a year old.

you could try it anyway, but there's a strong chance it won't find the virus.

Panda has an online virus scan that can delete/disinfect infected files.

If they find anything, they should prompt you with what they find for you to take any action (ignore, repair, delete, etc.)

And, Lil Pun is right - you could try panda online virus scanning.

Once you're clean remember the five tthings you must inspect weekly:

    1) make sure you have a properly installed and secured firewall
    2) security patches for Windows (use a free program called HFNETCHK to see which patches you need)
    3) update your anti-virus
    4) run spyware (spybot)
    5) run ad-aware

Just go into internet options and hit the reset to default web page and away you go.

Did you use IE Sumari? IE is vulnerable to a very large scale of attacks. Firefox is not targeted as much as IE and doesn't have many of the holes IE has because it is not tied in so closely with Windows. The problem will still exist just not on Firefox.

    Yes, I used IE.

I'm going to let Panda finish, then download Firefox, then run both Spybot & Adaware....... How does that sound ?
