I’m not sure if this would go in the Garm, mods please move if needed.

Thinking about creating a shirt that possibly could be made by one of us. I think I saw a guy on here not too long ago promoting T shirts with “I hate Titans” logos and what not, is there anyway to have someone make a shirt that would be for all Clutchfans to buy, maybe even bought here on the website, that read “We are Clutchfans Nation” on the front and our screen name or actual name on the back. Kind of to go with our theme this year, ya know.

I’m thinking this would be a great item to wear when everyone goes to Rockets games and a good way to catch any guys or gals here that don’t post picks or make vids, sort of like a better way to recognize a fellow Clutchfaner. :D

    Thoughts…. ???

This idea has came up many times before and nothing ever came out of it.

Flash! What's good man. Interesting idea.

I'm not sure if it would catch on, but it's definitely interesting.

So, no one got off their asses and did it before, so it couldn't possibly work in the future?

There used to be a copyright issue around "clutchcity" which should no longer be an issue. Since "clucthfans" is clutch's, you'd probably want his permission to go forth.

What's good son! Thanks, I'm sure it'll be hard to assemble and keep going but either way I'm going to make one for myself and wear it to any games I go too.

For sure I'll be sportin mine when the Cavs come to town.

    Holla at ya boy!!!

IIRC from a similar thread, someone brought up the issue about the possibility of people "acting up" in public, such at the games. I don't think Clutch would want to be associated with things like that.

Hah. I'll look at the Cavs game too. That or the Magic game. Definitely let us know how it goes. Cost and everything.

That makes sense.... what if we limit the t shirts to only members that have a significant status or have been long time members that don't just make posts to put people down and reject ideas, again hard to do. I understand.

The copyright thing is a good point too, dang it Clutch! Does that mean I can't even make one for myself??? I promise I'll be a good boy, puh puh puh puhlease!!! :D

If there were a shirt, I'd wear it proudly.

I need to find some Rockets buddies in Phoenix...too many Suns fans here, obviously.

What does that mean? Do people from Clutchfans behave that badly at games? I've never seen a fight at any of the games I've been to. I find it hard to believe that people specificly from Clutchfans would act up.

People here seem to be pretty down to earth...... at least as much as you can tell from a veiled moniker on a Rockets board.

i think its ridiculous to worry about how people act.....you can't control that and it's going to happen everywhere with any shirt on. I think it's a good idea and a lot of members would buy it...assuming the person designing it didnt design the rockets' unis...

I was actually thinking of something with those old school uni colors. Red shirt with white lettering of "We are Clutchfans Nation" across the front and our names on the back in white with yellow trim around the name. There could be yellow around the front lettering but I was thinking maybe that would be too much. ???

That was what I had in mind.... *shrug*

Something makes me think he's not going to catch you. If I had an interest in doing t-shirts, I'd just do it and wait for Clutch to come shut me down if he didn't like it.

I think the name thing would be too complicated for something like this.....not to mention more expensive. I think maybe just having the rockets logo on the front, very big, so it's noticeable from far away and stands out, and then on the back the "we are clutchfans nation"

If you want something more unique to identify people though, instead of the name i'd go with the member #. You can have "CLUTCHFAN " on the back like the name of a jersey, and then jersey number would be "545" or whatever your number is. The front then could have a smaller rockets logo with the words we are clutchfans nation

Beats me. I just remember reading that in one of the other threads for some odd reason. However, the one poster that I would be scared of trying to personify their internet alter ego would be thadeus.

Maybe even bar codes! JK haha

That's not a bad idea, I just wanted something so that all of us can rep while we were at games how much we love the Rockets and Clutchfans at the same time.

Yeah I don't think he'd be looking specifically for me. I was just kidding but if it doesn't go thru I still plan on making one for myself.

I never understood why we haven't CF T's yet. Clutch/somebody could make money on this idea, uh, this old idea.

But instead of T's, can you imagine CFs marching into the Toyota Center wearing Aaron's red jacket?

My money is on the table. Lets get it done!

Some of us would not want to let other members know our true identity.
In any case I would want to wear the red blazer not a T Shirt:p
