Had a family dinner last night...one of my dad's aunts married an American, and lived there for 30 years...(Detroit Michigan) Anyway, my dad's aunt died last year...so her husband (the American guy) has been out here (Australia) for a few months spending time with the family... Everyone treats him like an unlce...thus family... Really nice bloke he is too... Kept saying "Marc...you are a super guy...really super"...and I was like "yeah...thanks for that Ted, your not a bad bloke yourself" LOL Seriously though...he is a devout Christian, and I was very interested in his comments to the effect of "hey...no one should blame all muslims for what's going on...I am a Christian and I sure don't want to be blamed for the crazy Christians who have been killing Doctors at abortion clinincs..." Thought that was a good point... He invited me and my brother to come and stay with him in Detroit and travel the USA... Think I'll give that a miss right now somehow...
I was being sarcastic... Seriously though...I'd like to see America some time...but I have other commitments right now. Funny thing is now...I keep seeing Chevy Chase when I look at Unlce Ted...
