DaDakota, what are the necessary tools, skillwise, to be a decent computer game programmer? Someone told me once that 60% of it is artistic talent (of which I have little). There is an early version of the demo that was released to fansites...I can get you a copy, as the actual demo won't be out for a few weeks yet. Ravin, The skill required are mostly being able to work well with others, and be a good 3d Programmer. Voice, I was also a Producer/Designer on Starlancer, and the voice of the trainer.. If Clutch does not mind, I can post the demo here, and you can download it, it is about 30mg before extraction. DaDa Your game looks very impressive. I play alot of games and this looks really fun. I'm going to download it tonight. well I liked the game(demo) it was fun, and easy to learn. easy to play as well. so I give it a playability rating of 9. seriously, I had ZERO problems getting around. like I asked you(mentioned) in the chat, I am a huge fan of large playing fields, or big game maps. the demo only allows 5 systems which ammounts to 16 planets. I think you mentioned that the full version has up to 12 systems. this would be more fun, but if you play with the 8 possible players it is still a bit cramped. it dosnt feel cramped much at all, well at least not till you harvest most of the systems resources. than it becomes a matter of which empire has the most planets with refineries built on them. it is deffinately a fairly quick play. you can get a ton accomplished in a short time. probably alot of fun in multiplayer. game play score honestly:7 longevity:4 I think I would play this one out in about a week. I do not know the full extent of the full version, however this is the kind of game that I play to death quickly. overall it is a cool game. VOR, That is just the demo, the full game has 3 races, a random map generator, where you don't know where ANYTHING is, or how it is connected, and has the ability to play on up to 16 systems at one time.
