that have all come in in the last 12 minutes .....all because someone accidentally "replied to all" and then all the "replied to all" recipients replied to the 1st moron telling him/her not to "reply to all". This seems to happen at least once a month. Our email server will be crashing at any minute. BTW, this was a mass "group" email from the CEO of our company that went out to all 22,000 employees so I suspect this will only get worse.
Not a rant, actually funny. Kind of like watching a train wreck. I am sure this has happened to others that work for a large company.
Happens to us a lot. One person asks to be taken off the list.... then you know what happens. From their the people with actual brains ask everyone to stop replying to all but no one has anything better to do. Ops Managers, Sups, even Exec Vice Presidents get in on the action. Fuggin tards.
LOL, happened to me too... and we have 120K+ colleagues... and some of the people who became part of the reply all garbage are even director level.... It makes you wonder how do they get that job (or position) in the first place....
This happened to me several years ago at Continental. But in 2010, there is no excuse for not using bcc.
Happened to me a few years ago in college. Worst part is the tech support sent out an email telling people to not reply to all, but it only seemed to make it worse.
