correction, people don't say he doesn't jump. People say he can't jump, his vertical doesn't look that bad in that picture.
Its not always about how high u get up. Yao gets up higher than anyone based on his height alone...Its more about when you jump and how quickly u get up in the air. When Yao times his moves well he cant be stopped....When hes hessitant, quicker leapers can anticipate and block his shot.
I'd like to put your hands under his feet on that jump and after he lands we wont have to read stupid replies as this
from what i've read, yao used to have decent and above-average hop for a big man. before his left foot was broken when he was like 18 (prior to his coming to the nba), his vertical was ~26 inches. after that and throughout his first couple of nba seasons, his leap was ~12-15 inches. i am just talking off of memory. have no idea what his hop really is right now.
Kiddo, there is a fine line between dumb and dumber. By my observation, just dumb thread will not make you demoted. Only dumb and annoying thread will do that. My thread is dumb, but not annoying.
Just because he dunked once doesn't mean he can jump. When you're the number 1 player at getting rejected and your 7'6" YOUR SAD. That's not even funny, its just sad.
