I feel ya brotha!!! What you have said is very true. Mobley might score a lot, but he makes too many bad decisions with the ball. MO-T is getting there, but he's still a lack luster rebounder. Hakeem has the shot, the rebounds, the D. I think Im beginning to see why he wants to play next year... ------------------
Believe it or not, you may not be that far off, if you are at all. Clearly appears he's no worse than third... Mobley and Taylor are up there but both are looking very one-dimensional (that being offense) ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
I not only agree with you but I will do you one better. Hakeem is the secound best center in the league right now. Find me another center that is playing as well as The Dream right now! Can anyone show me a recent game where Hakeem has been outplayed by the opposing center? When given the minutes Hakeem has been averaging close to a double, double. ------------------
And yet we are telling this guy to retire? ------------------ its all good and fun till someone gets hurt ... then its absolutely hilarious!
Didn't Marc Jackson outplay him? Actually, Marc Jackson has been averaging about 20 and 10 the past 6 games. But I agree that Hakeem is doing well. ------------------ EZLN
It definitely seems that Dream is backing his own argument. With his play, I imagine the offense will start going down to him a bit more. With more touches and minutes, Dream could easily be a 20-10 man again. I thought he should have retired - it feels good to be wrong! With Zo out, you could definitely make a case for Hakeem being the 2nd best C in the game. ------------------
I think he just got pumped up to play David and will be back to what he's been doing in the next game or so.
Dream has been pretty consistent this year. I don't know if he can consistently have games like last night's, but he's been doing a pretty good job all season, especially on the boards. I think he may have found his second wind. I'd say Dream has 1-2 more seasons in him, granted that he's not the primary offensive option. What'cha think? ------------------ "ON-BEE-TAH-BULL!!", Hakeem Abdul Olajuwon, alumnus, University of Houston
I'm glad to have heard something good about Dream from ya'll! Whether he's the second best C in the league remains a question, but I'd say he's easily in the top 5. I mean he's not AS GOOD, but still he has something left. Also, looking around the league you've gotta admit that it's miserable in the big-men deparment. Yes, Dream has been outplayed by some of the no-names, but isn't he allowed to be outplayed?? Plus, the no-names are allowed to have an A game once in a while. Right? He is, I mean IS, the second best player on our team. Cuttino is good, but he's not a smart player yet. How many times have you read Rudy's lip that says, "Cuttino, what the F*** are you doing???" That proves something, doesn't it? Go Hakeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem!!! ------------------
