his "limitless potential" is crippled by his limitless apathy. Does this stiff have a pulse? It bores me to hear McGrady talk about his physical issues when Kevin Garnett is 3 years older, played in more games, at a more physical position, and plays every game like its his last. In the all-time Houston Sports Hall of Shame, McGrady has to be ranked right next to Chris "Chandelier" in terms of being Charmin soft. Latest news, is that he's "not mentally ready" to come back and play. Playing basketball isn't exactly the bar exam, mfer.
Chris Chandler played forever though! I prefer my players to play through no matter what, if he can't provide anything on the court then thats the coaches call to pull him. You want your players hungry to compete at all costs.
i hate him cuz i bought him damn expensive shoes (nice looking though), yet he does not repay me with brilliant dunks and acrobatic shots....
I don't he wanted to get injured. It can't be help. So Keven Garnett is older and he get less injury. It's probably because he has stronger physique orporbably he is luckier. But when he is injured, he injured, it can't be help and hating players because they got injured often is not going help. Look at Marcus Camby, he is frequently injured but it's not like he wanted to.
C'MON ..... You don't mean even if he is limping with pain, doing nothing but stand and watch helplessly as his opponents all flash past him in defense, could do no penetration but just jack his jumpers, contributing no energy and intensity due to his poor conditioning, watching helplessly as the Rockets play 4 versus 5, and you still want him to play, which will further aggravate his injury, and affect his big ego/weak mentality, and further enlarging the hole in the side of the Rockets ship that the ship will sink faster? Give TMAC a break !! Let's him take rest and return 100% healthy.
I hate Tmac because he always pull up transition 3 point jumpers, then misses and lead to opponents fast break and score. I still can't forget the Game 3, 4 against the Dallas at home.
He never figured out that he is *not* a great outside shooter. If he would drive to the hoop instead of shooting the long low percentage shots, he would NOT have the noose of never getting out of the first round. Too bad he's not intelligent enough to know that offensive efficiency is one of the big keys to success in the NBA.
Some of you guys make the worst comment against TMac. Would you tell a person in a wheelchair to stop being lazy and walk again? TMac has injuries. All people get injuries. Just because he gets injured more than others doesn't make him a weakling. "Beating a dead horse" is an idiom that means a particular request or line of conversation is already foreclosed, mooted, or otherwise resolved, and any attempt to continue it is futile. Currently the use of this expression with it's modern meaning is by Clutchfans members, referring to threads such as "I hate TMac because..." and "Trade this player..." which called for more triads and trades of Houston Rocket players but in which the management was apathetic about. Trying to rouse the management from its apathy on the issue, a Clutchfans member would say in many of threads, would be like trying to flog a dead horse to make it pull again.
WHY surprised?? Even though I'm a diehard loyal fan for Yao Ming, I don't particularly hate TMAC. And it's common sense that we need to rest him if he's not yet 100% healthy, still feeling pain in his knee/tendons, could not complete normal drills in team practice, could not participate in team scrimmage, and had poor conditioning after being sidelined for one month already. What good does it bring to the team by hurrying him back to play against San Antonio Spurs or any other teams until he is at least no longer feeling pain in his knee/tendons, and participate in a few team scrimmages without ill after-effect? You think he can recreate that 13 points in 35 seconds miracle again in his current state of health and form, and make contribution to the team?
Dont worry, he will be back soon when he feels like. He will give his best when he feels like. He will cheer for his teammates when he feels like. He will stop whining when he feels like. Dont worry, he will XXX when he feels like.
I hate Tracy because we can't get a good player back if we trade him because he's hurt! Otherwise I would wish his weak self luck somewhere else.
Tmac's mental toughness is like girl compare to Kobe. Kobe always carry fiery demeanor on court and look to further his career while Tmac always thinking about retirement and carry a load of excuses along the way which making it unbearable. Put up or shut up; Nobody like a whiner.
