I hate the Warriors this is tread is self-explanatory....my hatred towards GSW just cant stop growing. we had a great victory tonight and i really thought we would finally get that final playoff spot tonight. the wizards were Up by 17 at the half and i thought about making a appreciation tread for them but nah instead they lost 120-17 and now i find myself making a hatred tread against those warriors. anyone else feel some hatred against them??
I stayed up in hopes.....but alas the Wizards choked. And the Warriors plays STUPID...STUPID basketball. Fearless, but stupid. They aren't going to win anything. Oh, and WRONG FORUM ! DD
Hatred towards the Warriors? Nah. I'm feeling some hate towards the Wizards guards right now, though.
I'm from the bay, so rooting my warriors too. But for the Rockets, i'm looking at the bigger picture, who gives a **** about being 8th seed its all about 4th or higher.
I hate the Wizards right now more than the Warriors. How hard is it to get a defensive rebound(and hold onto it)? Or how about guarding the paint so the Warriors can't score on a layup or dunk 3 seconds after the Wizards made a basket? This is why the Rockets have won 16 of 19 games and still find themselves in 9th place. Nobody from the East not named Boston can beat anybody from out West.
We'll eventually pass them shortly after the ASG (maybe even before). I don't like them but the way they devoured Dallas last year makes up for everything.
Theyre playing PHX style basketball.. we all know how that turns out in the playoffs... I do hope that we get 6th seed or something and GS makes it in the playoffs (theyre fun to watch).. hopefully Denver loses their spot. I hated them since one of their scrubs hit a gamewinner after a great performacne by the team w/o T-mac
I second that hate for GS. But it's okay. THe run and gun style is out, and even Phoenix has conceded to its futility.
do you guys realize we will be going through this agony all season ? we will probably never feel safe even if we get sole possession of any playoff spot. its just too tight right now. lose a couple games and it will appear the sky is falling
They are gambling on the speed side. Hustle on every play. My head spins. It's like watching a high school game. But I guess they have a good record, it works for them. But that style of basketball wont go anywhere. See the Suns. Daivs and Jackson are pretty good though. The key to kill the Warriors is execute every play to their death. Attack their paint and fierece on the glass. Trying to outshooting the fanatics arent going to work.
I have weird feeling that somehow they are going to pull out at least a 2-1 from that stretch, especially the Celts dont have Garnet.
Any loss by any West team is huge for the Rox right now.. especially since we have a brutal March schedule that includes a 4-games-in-5-nights against Boston, NO, PHX and GS..
i too hate the Warriors...the whole team reminds me of some street thugs....thugs who are ahaid of us in the playoff picture..
gsw is actually my favorite team outside of the rockets right now. nellie ball at its finest, finally. fun to watch. and they will be the last thoroughbred after shaq joins the suns. and i've no doubt we'll surpass them in the standings. soon.
I'm not so worried about the 8th spot. Everybody can't keep playing at this pace -- sooner or later, somebody's going to start to drop out. Practically everybody's a 3 game losing streak from 9th place now. Somebody's got to lose eventually. The Dallas Mavericks (yeah, that's right, the Mavericks) are dangerously close to becoming a bubble team now. Two consecutive bad losses against EC opponents, they still don't have Harris, Stackhouse expected to be out at least a couple more weeks, maybe longer, and now Josh Howard just went down with a back injury. They scored 23 points in the 2nd half tonight. The Suns are up in the air. Wouldn't be surprised to see them falter as they try to work Shaq into the rotation, and they're going to miss Shawn Marion. Denver's too inconsistent and lacks dependable scoring outside of the big two. Portland is done. Even Nawlins is faltering. And their lack of depth is going to cost them at some point. We don't have to worry about all of these teams. If this Rockets team keeps on rolling into March, they should make it to 50 wins. And into the postseason.
