I have spent 15 hours in the last week waiting for these SOBs to come and install my service. Last Saturday, I had an appointment from 8-12. When 12 rolled around and no one showed, I called and they said that they would make it there before 4PM. I figured that I would wait since I had spent 4 hours waiting already. Sure enough, 4PM came and went with no DirecTV technician at the house. They apologized and I rescheduled for yesterday. To accomodate their availability, I took half a day off from work yesterday. To make a long story short, after 7 hours of waiting, and 10+ calls, I get the tech supervisor who tells me that the technician couldn't do the job because his hands hurt and it was cold. Why does it take 10+ phone calls to them to get the response that the technician wasn't coming? They could have told me instead of giving me bogus times throughout the day. I'm going back to Comcast.
