let TNT run basketball broadcast everyday of the year. ABC should get cut out of this deal. I get sick every time I hear "Right Now" by PCD at every break. its gay. you shouldnt sex-ify the NBA anymore than it is, it can sell itself on its own without women running around at every commercial break (other than the RPD ). just stupid.

now if ull excuse me, im going to go listen to "Remember the Name." that song could get me amped up enough to take on randy couture in the friggin octagon (and also could help me through my rehab after he spared my life).

 

I really don't mind the ladies singing. I'm just old enough to remember when nbc got it from cbs, back in 88 or 89. maybe 90. anyway, I like cbs alot more with dick stockton as the main nba play-by-play guy and I never really got into nbc, especially when they tried to stick costas in there. I think costas is the most overrated play-by-play guy in the history of man kind.

and I'm actually a costas fan from his early stint on nfl on nbc in the eighties, as a studio analyst

 

Word. CBS was the best. NBC sucked alot more...but better than any coverage nowadays.

 

When that chick from PCD wore a # 8 jersey instead of a # 24 jersey, I couldn't take it seriously.

 

Move it to Fox... they'll highlight the ball in blue so we don't lose track of it, make cool sound effects when somebody dunks the ball, and have Joe Buck do pbp for yet another sport where he makes countless mediocre pop culture jokes, and pretends to be smarter than everybody else.

 

they would probably replace all the players with Transformers as well

CBS was all class
NBC was decent and bearable
ABC is an insult to the game.
