go shaq! did ya'll see that dunk? ------------------ johnny "red" kerr:i'm glad the bulls did'nt draft steve francis. dan roan: why!!!!! johnny red kerr:because he would forever be compared to michael jordan.
That was too sweet!! Dagger through the heart of Dr. Evil(Pippen). I am satisfied. Time to cheer on Indiana. ------------------ We need some meat in the post!
He probably won't this time around, but the rest of you got your wish. Pippen will never win another ring with all those chokers around him. By the way, I'm going to be rooting for Indiana as hard as anyone. But I realize there is almost no point. The Pacers simply aren't that good. The Lakers will kill them because of their inability to guard Shaq. Even though I wish otherwise, the Fakers will beat Indiana in four games or five. This was the one chance to knock out LA. And Portland choked. Still, I hope people give LA an "asterick" because they haven't earned anything. Portland was the better team. Without a doubt. But they choked, and GAVE the Fakers the title. Even though they'll lose, GO PACERS! ------------------
Ummm...Cat, did you look at pottie's numbers for the game? If anything he leads the team in choking...... ------------------
I know he just had 12 points/10 rebounds, but no one can come close to choke king Wallace at the end. 1 for 8 shooting during that stretch? All close shots? Bricks two free throws that would have tied the game? No one can be held more responsible for the choking than Wallace. I know you guys hate Pip, but it wasn't him that choked. ------------------ Cheaters never win. Unless you play for LA that is.
Rasheed is an all-around new skool, perennial all-star forward. but w/o team offense or team D in any situation, the best offensive player will suffer. tho 1 for 8 is crappy bad on paper, he was forced into such shots because of the offense not being properly setup. and of course, after Game 6, who else was praised for 'setting up the offense' and what not, snottie. snottie's role was to step up and be the catalyst when the team was down (or thats what paul allen had hoped), which of course we kno he didnt do. ------------------ purvis was never short.
Well, let's see . . . Pip started with 9 pts in the first quarter . . . not bad . . . and then went 1 of 7 through the next 3 quarters. Golly! Sounds a little like choking to me ------------------
