...at the Widespread show in dallas last night. 15ft from the stage, right in front of JB..... unreal. running into friends from different schools in the parking lot, consuming mass quantities of alcohol (among other things... ;)), partying on the charter bus we rented with a keg in the back. the entire experience was life-altering.

greatest concert-going experience of my life. i could be catching their show in tulsa tonight, but i ran out of money. my buddy, however, made the trip on exactly ZERO sleep.... he'll be hating life tomorrow.

this will not be my last widespread show, that is a fact.

I went to the System of a Down concert in Austin last night. I got shoved around a lot and almost got trampled... You know, the usual stuff. It was completely badass. I f-ing love System live. There was no face melting though ;)

In all seriousness, as a "spreadhead" I'm curious to hear more about the show.

And please leave out any parts about Mavs fans high-fiveing each other.

In all seriousness, I have no idea what the "JB" in the original post is referring to.

John Bell. Singer/guitarist for Widespread Panic. He also goes by "JB."

At least I'm sure he was up there with Jeff Blake, Jeff Balke, Jon Barry, James Brown, Jack Black and all the others.

Wow, that must've been SOME show! ;)
