I got a beef with rockets.com.... Why is it that on their 'Rockets Around The Web' column on their front page, there are never any links to any ClutchCity.net stories, but they will link to h00psw0rld and other sites. This is the biggest and best fan site on the internet for the Houston Rockets and not ONE mention of ANY stories from Clutch and Crew, and if you ask me, some of the stories from this site are way better than other sites. Not even to mention that they probably got the idea for 'Rockets Around The Web' from our very own ClutchCity.net's 'Latest Articles' where Clutch and Crew do the exact same thing, dig up Rockets related articles from all over the web! C'mon Rockets.com, give CC.net some props...
Wrong! This is officially an unofficial Rockets website that has the most official relationship with the Rockets.
Officially, I visit here more often than any other site on the internet. Unofficially, I technically don't visit a site for the other stuff.
Ur.. AT, CC has been mentioned in the media once before. http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2015
Very, very funny. I'm not surprised the NBA won't mention ClutchCity.net. I am surprised though that they would link to HoopsWorld.
I'm with Clutch. I understand why a fansite like ClutchCity wouldn't be listed, but I am surprised that they'd put Hoopsworld on there. I'd actually rather they take the Hoopsworld link down than put ClutchCity up.
Well I like it the way it is. Too much notice and this site would be damn hard to get in if everyone knows about it.
This site is great, I just wish I had heard of it a long time ago. I actually heard of this when some pictures of the Rockets were shown on the news and they credited cc.net for them. Thats when I came here and found my new favorite site.
With no disrespect to Clutch and the Crew who are nothing short of sensational, but why would a link on rockets.com be a good thing? It's not like the exponential member growth over the last several years has improved the level of basketball discussion. The past year has seen the inclusion of windandsea, thumbs, and SamFisher (among numerous others). But for every poster like them, there are literally dozens of posters whose sole contribution is their presence. Sorry if that is offensive to anyone but CC is not like the US Constitution...all posters are not created equal...
