Does anyone here remember The Tom Green Show? Okay, let's forget how awful it was for a minute and try to remember. Tom had this guy that sat in the background, drank coffee, and just laughed all the time. I think his name was Phil.

That's Clyde. Seriously, what else does he bring to the broadcast? I really think that could be a great permanent job for him: he could just sit behind Bill and Matt and laugh the whole game. It'd be great, and he'd still be better than Calvin Murphy. He couldn't even put his cookies down long enough to say something.

Not that anyone cares but Tom Green still has a show that is streamed on the net (no television). He and a few people do the whole thing by themselves. I saw an episode with Joe Rogan and another clip of it where some 80s guitarist (can't remember who) came out and cut up Tom's desk with a chain saw and royally pi$$ed Tom off.

I agree with your assessment of Clyde, btw. That would be about all he is good for.

I'm enjoying living in the past today, and I started to wonder something.
Why can't Clyde talk like this anymore?

    That was a nice video.

I don't mind Clyde, but it's probably only because I don't get to watch very many games nowadays, so I love whatever I get to see.

Oh man, he's uploaded the whole Double Clutch video to Youtube (it's in 8 parts). I think I might go marathon the 1994 NBA Finals later tonight. It really just depends on how good the Bulls/Warriors game is.

Listen to the play-by-play when Clyde hits that 3-Point game winner. I wish Clyde could show the same emotion Calvin Murphy did.
