I feel really stupid but: How do you transfer pics from your dig. cam. to your pc?

    I have no clue. How can I transfer pics from my digital camera to my pc using usb?

    You remind me of Andy Skowronski.

    Anyway, the camera should come with the software that lets you pull the pictures off, assuming you don't have a camrea that uses flash cards. If you do, just put the flash card in a card reader and the pictures should be on it.

    Depends what sort of camera on O/S you have.

    The easy way would be to simply plug the camera in and turn it on - if you have XP, it may detect and install it automatically. If it does so, just check out all your drives under Windows Explorer, and you will probably see an extra drive named after your camera. Then you can just drag and drop from their onto your hard drive.

    Did your camera come with instructions and a CD? You may need to install drivers and proprietry software from it.

    Does your camera have a Compact Flash card or some other type of removeable storage media? If so, it may be easier to buy a $20 media reader and transfer the files that way?
