I just traded Clinton Portis and Eric Moulds for Ronnie Brown and Michael clayton. With Galloway tearing it up and Stick Ricky due back how bad is this trade for me. My team sucks anyway so I wanted to make a move, just not sure this was a good one.
That's the worst trade in the history of mankind. You should be smacked upside the head with a wet trout.
Miami's O-Line is horrible, Ricky is about to be back and Clayton was injured this weekend. On the flip, Washington has an underachieving O-Line, Portis is seeing some carries go Betts way and Moulds has a 1st year gopher ball thrower trying to get him the ball. I'd call it a wash or only say that your trading partner mildly got the better of the deal...therefore, the trout that should smack you upside the head should be dry, not wet.
Losman has been benched. Kelly Holcomb is now the starting QB in Buffalo. Moulds should put up decent numbers now.
Would you happen to have a link? I've searched a couple of sites and can't find anything about the demotion. I've been close to dropping Evans in one league and Moulds in another but most likely would hold out a few more weeks if Holcomb is indeed the new starter. TIA.
Not yet. Even after last weeks game, Mularky still isn't budging. "I have not even considered [starting Holcomb]," Mularkey said. "J.P.'s the starter and I'm going with J.P. I think everyone understands that." Don't count on any buf wrs putting up any consistant numbers any time soon. In fact, don't even count on them for inconsistant numbers if possible. I'm sure he couldn't be any worse, but Holcomb hasn't looked good in Buffalo either. As far as the trade, eh, Portis is the best player in the deal, but it's doubtful that he performs like a stud to carry your team. Moulds is near worthless despite his talent. At least both Clayton and Brown have a chance at being viable starters the rest of the way.
I have Moulds in one of my leagues as well. Was going to drop him until I read about Holcomb taking over. If I can find out where I read it i will post it. Here it is. While not definite, a QB change may take place. Hang on to those Bill's recievers. http://www.democratandchronicle.com...?AID=/20051003/SPORTS03/510030328/1007/SPORTS
