He took the job away from Tate and had a break out year. Now Tate might take the job back and Foster may not get paid.

He didn't take the job away from Tate, Tate went on IR before the season began. And Foster was already slated as 1A last year with Tate as 1B. It was never Tate's to begin with.

Arian is not going to lose his position over a sore hammy. He'll be fine.

    Arian will be back.

I like what Tate is doing, but I don't think he's Arian.

Arian will be back but I think this will be the last season we see him in a Texans uni.

Even in the unlikely scenario that Tate wins the starting job and we decide we dont want Foster...Arian will get paid, just not by the Texans.

If Tate has 1300 yard or average 100 yds a game teams will start thinking was it arian or the system? Remember all those rb in denver?

Arian Foster will get paid and be paid by the Texans.

This isn't a Dunta Robinson situation.

If you spend a 2nd round pick on RB I am thinking they were thinking he was going to start.

Foster had the starting job...He was going to be Batman...and Tate was going to be Robin. When Tate got hurt, that just cleared the way for Foster to get more carries, but he was going to be the starter regardless.

I heard this a lot on the radio today, not sure why everyone is ready to replace Foster...the guy had 2000 yards from scrimmage last year. Love Tate and think he is a player but how about doing it for more than 2 games before replacing an all-pro RB.

If Foster doesn't have a good season then he will just wait much like CJ did this season. If blows up again after he gets healthy then he gets paid...simple.

Im sure there are enough scouts out there that realize the vision and patience Foster has as a runner. He will excel in any system. Even if Tate does well, its more a result of Tate's ability.

Last I checked, Slaton cant run in this system.

Also we've played a couple of pretty bad defensive teams.

With Tate our offense is great, but with a healthy Arian, our offense is ELITE.

The Schaub-Foster-Johnson trio is the best in the league.

Miami is a top 10 defense.

Dont focus on the Patriots game...New England always puts up monster numbers against Miami. Last year was the same story as this year, yet the Dolphins still had the 6th best defense in the NFL.

Man, I guess fans just look too hard into things trying to start conflict when their team is winning....

    Texan Fans:

Arian Foster is on a different level than Ben Tate. Ben Tate could not lead the NFL in yards from scrimmage. Plain and simple. Foster has vision, explosion, and decisiveness that no other back on this roster has.

I think he was top 5 for yards from scrimmage a few years ago.

Don't you mean was a top 10 defense? So far this year they don't look very good, granted they have played 2 excellent offenses.
