thee Rocket orginization and coaching staff that we are not using Yao properly.

who here wanted Yao to take 25 shots against shaq or Duncan

To me Yao is the 2nd best player in the team but not the best optinon in offense everytime.

I am sure if yao is good or close to good as olajowon now Rudy and Mean would exclusively give hime the ball eveytime because he would be able to carry this team.

The fact of the matter is he cannot carry this team this year because he is not good enough. plain and simple

How can anyone question the coaching ability of this team when these same coaches coached one of the best big men ever o play the game

I think Yao is blessed tohave a great coaching organization around him this early in hias career and will continue to get better as time moves on.

I guess you did not see the first quarter in New Jersey. Yao taking 25 shots is a good thing in the long run.

When someone says "we are not using Yao properly", it doesn't mean we are not giving him enough shots. It means we aren't using him properly!!!!!! We don't know how to use him. First, he needs to face the basket more on the perimeter or in the high post. He can shoot. He is probably the best shooting center. But we always do the same exact thing with him. We just pass it to him in the low post. Same thing every time. There are many different things that we can try. Hopefully in the offseason, they will create many different scenarios. But first, please get rid of Larry Smith and Moochie Norris.

Alirules:- Hakeem was coached by the Univ. Of Houston Coaches where he learned his basics and got his Court Sence. Then he was coached by Moses Malone, where he developed his great moves. Carrol Dawson coached Hakeems hook shot. At present we dont have anyone to coach Yao Ming. outside of Rudy T our coaches are only scrubs!

Where have you being lately? When RudyT realized how stupid he was, he started to push everyone to 'pass Yao the DAMN ball!'

Of course, our video coordinator can never get it, but he won't count as a coach.

 Being drafted by the rockets was the WORST thing to ever happen to Yao. The only way he develops is by getting the ball and the chance to go 1-on-1 with the best in the game and he's not getting none of that here. You don't learn to be a center by standing on the weakside while Mobley or whoever has half the court cleared out for him so he can ISO and turn it over. I'm tired of opposing teams' announcers laughing at how pathetic we are because we fail to recognize that almost everygame (except against LA or Spurs), we have an advantage at center. The bucks announcers tonight were having a hard time holding back from saying the rockets coaching staff is outright STUPID for not using Yao when Pryzbilla and Ervin "I'm not magic" Johnson were in major foul trouble and riding pine.

I really like how Larry Smith likes to put Yao in when the game is out of reach. I also like how he opts to go to MoT and have Yao standing and watching on the weak side in the corner. But what I like most is how everyone, except the houston coaches, see that Yao is our ticket to the win.

i think everybody needs to shut the he!! up. when yao has a good shooting night, people start complaining how we don't get yao the ball enough. when yao has a bad game, yao ming is the next rik smits. people need to stop overreacting to the extreme. the fact of the matter is yao has been playing 44 consecutive months in the offseason and the coach probably doesn't want to overuse him. it'd probably be a good idea to bench yao the rest of the season and give him a rest and let the rockets miss the playoffs since they're not going to make it anyway. let phoenix get eliminated in the first round so they don't get a lottery pick to become even more dangerous and start over next season with a better rested yao ming.

Err... Thank you for explaining to me.
As a new fan to basketball, I did not know that it is a great strategy to loose the game.

he!!, i got an even better idea of how to build the rockets into a championship contender. bench yao the remainder of this season to give him a rest and bench him next season to give him another rest with a fake injury to put him on the injured list while he rests and trains with hakeem and the rockets finish with a lottery pick to draft tj ford or at least a good small forward. then maybe we can win a championship.

     :D

I disagree. I think most of the brains in nba and almost every announcer of other team, agree with me. I suspect Yao agrees with me as well.

    This coaching staff sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
