At that time, yao is very thin and slow, his play pose is very ugly.

I have not the aesthetic feeling from his play. althouth he can gain a lot of socres and rebs in last two yeas.

I think this is only beacause of his super height. I don't like him and many fans don't like him.

We like the man such as Wang zhizhi, Hu weidong and Liu yudong much more.

but Wang Zhizhin is unsuccessful in Dallas, as the best center of china, he can ony shoot 3P at Mavericks and is soft in the painter. I fell unhanppy about it.

for this reason, I think Yao will be more difficult in NBA, beacuse he is more thin and even cann't shot 3P.

We don't believe that Yao can have a success in NBA and most people think so.

I think even , the worst result is that Yao will be hurt by the strong NBA men because of his thin and weak body.

But all my attitudes began to change after Yao's first season.

It's well known that a yellow race 's body is weak than a black and a white

but Yao' s action prove that a yellow can compete with black and white in the paint of the basketball court.

I like the Yao's spirits of insisting although his play pose is still ugly.

What is the point of this post? Yao will never go back to the past. Who cares whether you like the way Yao played in CBA or not?

Yao surely can't play like MJ or Kobe or TMAc. We all know those high-flying actions are enjoyable to watch, but it not Yao's fault for not being able to play like that. At 7'6, he has his own style of playing basketball. It is part of this sport. He is not as powerful as Shaq, not as athletic as Amare, but he plays with smart and have an unbelievable soft shooting touch for a big man. He is a Stojacovic for a center.

I like to watch him grow from a meek mama's boy into a cornerstone of the franchise and the National team of China. It has been a physical battle and a psycological one as well. The growth shows he has the HEART to be a champion one day. That's what I like most from this guy. I am really proud for this countryman of mine. :)

    Sura faints

Isn't most of the gold medal weight lifters (both men & women) Chinese? But I guess on average you are probably right.

Yao this year has given me more hope for the future. Thought he might just be a good center before his recent outburst... now he has a chance to be great :)

    -G'day-

All these senseless first posts from the supposedly 'new members' (but are they really new?)...

I have the feeling that some guys (or may be even the same person with different screen names) is making up all these posts with broken english to poke fun at the oversea posters.

The fools on the ESPN boards do this kind of dumb stuffs all the time.

I disagree. I think a lot of these newbie posters simply can't speak English very well. As a result, their nonsensical posts are ruining the quality of Clutchfans.

It seems like every other post nowadays is "I think Yao have aesthetics pose of large sexy tiger man" or "Today I saw Yao picture on wall he look me and wink I so happy I pee my pants".

I think you're post is rather stupid and weak. It's ppl like you, with no confidence, that make asians look bad. Speak of yourself as being a WEAKLING but don't lump other asians with you. I don't post much, but these noobs are really lowering the quality of posts on the site.
