Has any one heard of Michael Ruppert? No? Me neither until last night. Watched a documentary called "Collapse" and this guy is insanely smart. To understand Obama's hogwash of a speech tonight, i think this documentary is the most understandable piece about our economy and the world right now. Mainly about Peak Oil, but goes into a lot of other things including the Iraq War, and Why we were really there. I haven't ran across someone making this much sense in a long time. Highly recommend any one that can stream netflix to watch it when you can(30 million stars I would have rated it)... <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/WAyHIOg5aHk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Is this how us liberals looked during the 2003-2004 years of Bush? Sorry, we must've looked liked lunatics.
This is the same guy who accused the CIA of participating in the introduction of crack in LA when the director of the CIA at the time (mid 80s) was at a 'town hall' meeting. He was a former LA detective. I don't know if it was Cocaine Cowboys II or or the Freeway Ricky Ross documentary that you can see him challenge the guy. He's firmly convinced that's for sure. There's a couple of other documentaries on Netflix that he appears in along with others. I thought the documentary you're referring to was good. A lot of folks discredit him. I don't pretend to know enough to say either way.
