On what Olajuwons attention is.. As long as he dont wear a Rockets Uniform! He can take Cato with him for a plate of Black Beans.

Oh good, another "Doc Rocket" style of cryptic post.

    Let's examine it:

    1. The title is our first clue, the separation of the D.A. indicates that Derek Anderson is leaving the Spurs.

    2. The incorrect spelling of the word DAMN, perhaps is a clue telling us that Darwin Hamm, (or perhaps Mia Hamm) will be a Rocket next year.

    3. Continuing, there are numerous grammatical errors (no apostrophe in Olajuwons and the use of the word attention instead of intention) which indicates that the Rockets will be drafting a high school player and since the errors occur predominantly at the beginning of the post, it is clear they will use a pick in the beginning of the first round on this player.

    4. Now the most cryptic part: The trade of Cato for a plate of black beans. I've pondered this for quite a while and I am quite sure that the "black" part refers to Vinny Del Negro and the Suns. The "beans" part is an obvious misspelling and should be "beens" as in "Has-been" as in Penny Hardaway. Thus, the Rockets are trading Cato to the Suns for Anfernee Hardaway.

Hmmmm, I can only assume that Fugg is another spelling error and you actually meant fugue. One of the definitions of fugue is:

"A pathological amnesiac condition during which one is apparently conscious of one's actions but has no recollection of them after returning to a normal state. This condition, usually resulting from severe mental stress, may persist for as long as several months."

Way to go Bobrek! One of the reasons I love these boards so much as opposed to some of the others I have seen, is that these boards seem to be remarkably free of posters like Toogqisback, and occasionally there are posters like Bobrek that are a real plus

One of my favorite classical pieces is "Toccata and Fugg in D minor" by Beethoven. Maybe it means we are drafting HArold Minor in the first round....wait that was a while back. I was never any good at deciphering these cryptic posts.

The artful dismisal of toogisback's r****ded utterances by borek, the discourse on an abnormal psycological syndrome ( also known as OJ's syndrome) and the mere mention of Bach on a sports related page has warmed my heart. That I found such a cerebreal salon to engage my love of hoopilogical speculation bodes well for many hours of insightful and whimsical interplay.

    Gene Peterson -

That's a great screen name! It's almost as good as Granville Waiters, who seems to have disappeared.
