Really? Those are the GMAT questions? Seems to be easier than the crappy test I have to take in high school.
Looks like your sentence questions printed with the answers already... Anyway: Initial guesses.. 1) E 2) C 3) D 4) C I know a lot of these things are designed as sort of trick questions, so sometimes the first-glance answers turn out not to be correct. In which case, put all the egg on my face you want.
Seemed pretty easy to me. Answers to the math part are... 1. e 2. b 3. a 4. c 5. d I haven't read the second part yet.
whoo more interesting than work.. 1. E 2. A 3. C? 4. C 5. E 1. A 2. A 3. C 4. D 5. E (edit: I like how our answers are already differing..)
Lady_di, I'm teaching HIGH SCHOOL students today. I'm already having to use my brain 'cause THEY sure as heck don't.
Im hoping those are the "easy" math questions for the GMAT. Otherwise, I think an 8th grader would be able to pull it off. The grammar ones are pretty easy as well.
Problem Solving Section: E) 24 F) Because an integer consists of all natural numbers and their negatives, all negative numbers fulfill this. The proper answer is (-Infinity, 3). If the question was worded differently (How many integers n where 1< n< 25), there'd be a different answer. I'll do the rest later; I have to run to a different room.
For #2, the only integers that work are 0, 1, 2, and 3. Any n equal and less than -1 would yield a number 0 or less, and therefore, less than 1.
That question can be a little tricky, for all I know, there's something I missed too. I hate #3, I have a feeling the answer is D because there is two molecules of H to one molecule of O. When the question talked about ratio, I don't know if it is within context of water or molecular weight. If it is within the context of water, then the answer is D, and I'd be wrong.
