So a couple of weeks ago I was in the Apple store in Memorial City Mall shopping for my sister's birthday. I walked to the back of the store to check out and to my left I saw this really tall person with their back to me. As I looked closer, I realized it was a woman. I figured she must have been 6'8" or so. Definitely the tallest woman I've ever seen in person. Now, fast forward to this afternoon. I went to 24 Hour Fitness to shoot around for a while, and I end up playing a game of 21 with a couple of guys. Halfway through our first game, guess who walks in the gym and asks to join the game. Yeah...the same woman, dressed in a black leotard with a pink sweatshirt wrapped around her waist and a pink visor on her head. The game she jumped in on was almost over, so she wasn't able to do much. But in the next game...she was on a mission. She was putting the ball on the floor and bulldozing her way through the lane, and several times she pretty much dragged a guy to the rim with her. She was owning the boards, throwing up finger rolls, left handed up-and-under shots in the post, and even a reverse scoop shot around the backboard with her feet nearly on the baseline. She even ended the game on a three from beyond NBA distance. It was pretty incredible. Now, since I myself am a huge proponent of the "pics or it didn't happen" rule, I give you exhibit A... Spoiler
That puny little guy in the yellow looks terrified. He should turn in his man card if he hasn't already.
She lloks like the female version on Conan, conquering all of your asses in the paint. Or maybe a Female Basketball Viking or something like that.... Say, dont the Rockets need a Center?!?
