...About the Utah game, and the playoffs in general.

Much better optimism... and his counts!

Seriously, what is it about "bbs" that brings out the negativity in even the most devout Rockets fans?

Some long timers have begun to panic... for what?

I like that attitude too...but I think that some of the other players on the team would like to engineer a better matchup.

Luis gets it right....just friggen play to win every game.

I think
we as fans

should think every game and any game is winnable by our team. We did win 22 games straight. That was never in our minds possible.

I so agree with Scola, i mean the win-margin between the teams are so slim, that they basically have the same strengths and weaknesses. Why FRET over small things and lose our focus going into the playoffs. SCOLA IS SOCRATES.

That should be the right attidue of a player. But for a coach, his job is not only ot win a game, but to find a better route to the land of glory.

we just wish we can have some advantages. plus it doesn't look like everyone on the team is on the same page with scola. if we do what scola tells us to do, wouldnt' that mean we would have beaten denver yesterday? wouldn't we have beaten the kings the other day? too bad he did terrible yesterday.

I agree with Scola's attitude. If we win tonight, we clinch home court. If we win out, we still have a shot to rise to the #1 seed. We are coming off an amazing, dominating win over the Suns. Yes, we looked bad last night, but we were also down Shane and BJax as well as a hobbled Rafer. We've got to keep some perspective on things. This has been an amazingly resilient team, and they should have earned our trust by now. Every time they have been doubted, they have risen to the occasion.

I think we give Utah a good fight tonight. I don't know if we'll win, but I certainly don't think it's a foregone conclusion that we lose.

My wife always asks me the morning after Rocket losses. "Doom and gloom on Clutch Fans?" And I always have to her yes.

he understands that what happened on the previous night doesn't necessarily mean anything when it's actually time to play the game

people who post on this board on the other hand, 50% of them base 90% of their confidence on the team whether they won the last big game.

not much has changed for the rockets in 3 days but most of the QQers would have changed their opinion of the Utah game 3 times since Friday when we played Pho.

is houston going to beat utah?
friday before suns game: no!
sat after suns game: yes@!
sun after denver: no :(

when you play sports you gotta roll with the punches. you could play the same team 3 times and get 3 very different games. just keep doing what you do

if everyone played as hard and with the same attitude as scola, we'd probably be 82-0.

I agree with him in that it doesn't really matter who they play...sure they might match up slightly better against certain teams...but aside from Denver (whose no slouch either) all of these teams will be very difficult to beat in a playoff series.

So it doesn't really matter too much who they end up playing in the first round...but I think it does matter significantly if they have home court or not, especially against a Utah or SA.

EXACTLY, then you bench Scola with some phantom injury because he would muck it up.
