I can not wait as I am very anxious to see if the Spurs comeback has a carry over effect for the rest of the season, or it was just a one time occurance.

I can not wait to see if Tmac continues to go off the JVG game plan and just plays basketball.

I can not wait to see how JVG will react, if he loses his nut, and does not accept that TMac and Yao want to play up tempo, his career will be over.

I can not wait to see if the new found fire in Yao has a lasting affect, and he finally understands how he needs to play to be successful.

I can not wait to see the confidence in Andre Barrett and Bob Sura, what a great difference between these two and the first two PGs we had at the beginning of the season.

Mostly, I just can't wait to have this team come together and start the process of becomming a legitimate championship contender.

    I can not wait......

I really hope that the SA game was a spark for the Rockets. If T-MAC and Yao continue to play the way they are -- and everyone else does the blue collar things like rebound than I do not see why not. I'm very impressed with the lack of turnovers although the 24 second violations are getting on my nerves.

The real question is how they are going to perform when JJ comes back are they going to look at him to score that much anymore or have T-Mac and Yao officially taken over and will dominate like they know they can.

All in all i am hoping this is a sign that we are going to turn the corner and that we can expect anything.

Well last year in the middle of the season he was able to keep it up for about 20 games. With all these games at home, I smell a similar run.

Sometimes I have to keep reminding myself that don't put the expectation too high.

    Honestly, I am anxious too.

yeah i was thinking the same thing. Hopefully this home stand will help him re-gain any confidence he has lost. He seems to be playing a bit more agressively of late. I hope he can continue to play that way once we get back on the road.

    I can't wait. Only 2 more hours.

I hope Yao stays away from foul trouble this time.

He needs to be more vocal and talk to the refs so they start respecting him and giving him calls instead of making the calls on him.

JVG made a comment about it on the radio saying that Yao is a nice guy and doesn't complain which leads to less trips to the line.

I agree with this comment and if yao wants to get more free throws and get less calls on him then he going to have to step up and talk to the refs and let him know how he feels about the situation and stop being a nice guy.

I am excited as well. I am excited about all the possibilities. I am excited about seeing tmac and Yao clicking and destroying every team on our way. I am excited about our improving defense.

Most of all I am excited that we could go on a really long winning streak if we manage to beat Dallas tonight.

lol. You try to complain to anyone with a new language, a very different culture, chances are you'll turn out to be an annoying person. The same reason why Yao should not be the team leader for another 5 years or so.

This game truly exposed the rockets lack of good shooters.

They just can't hit a shot to save their life.. this isn't a coaching problem because they're missing WIDE OPEN shots.

The only knock on JVG tonight was his defense... which is hard when the Mavs hit nearly every single one of their wide open shots.

    yeah.
Ward can shoot but he's old and too slow can't play defense and can't really run the offense.
    Lue nope.
Sura and Barret cannot shoot very well.
    Tmac..
Jimmy is slow seems old I guess not doing good..deteriorating basically.
Nachbar is still not ready..he fouls out in a couple minutes.
Spoon, Taylor, Howard cannot shoot. Dikembe definitely can't. I haven't seen Yao make an outside shot this year even thoug hhe made a 3 in NBA Live today :p.

Padgett is the only person to shoot..and he's too small to be a PF..too slow to be a SF..he's a wonderful 3rd stringer but can't do crap when the whole team is sucking!!!
