The N Orleans/OKC Hornets are over .500. They beat the Sixers last night and their record is 8-7! This is the team that was suppose to be the worst in the NBA by far. They don't have one big name in the whole line up. I gotta give it up to Coach Scott he has this team playing like they can really win. ITS UNBELIEVABLE! P.S. Well the only semi big name in Boki http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3613
I was just thinking that this morning when I saw the highlights. I thought they were going to be the worse team in the league followed by ATL but wow! The people in OKL have really supported the team and made them feel welcome. Maybe PJ Brown will get two votes for MVP this season
I think most peole thought Chris Paul had potential, but few saw him being such a special player. I don't think much of Byron Scott as a coach, but he's earning my respect this year. It remains to be seen how long this team can carry on at .500. We will see. I feel so sorry for AI. He's playing his heart out like never before and the Sixers are still struggling.
Where the hell did David West come from? Here's a guy that no one really knew, and now he's averaging 16 and 8.
A little off topic. Talking about the Sixers. The whole Atlantic Division is under .500. And the whole Central is over .500. And the Pacific Division is upside down from just 2 years ago. This is a crazy season.
Really? I know I would've taken him #2 behind Bogut... if my needs were right I might've even taken him #1. He just really doesn't have big holes in his game. I gotta think a lot of people saw him coming. Actually, he was one of those guys I think a lot of people knew was very capable of being consistently productive, even if he'll likely never be a star. I remember him slipping to I think the early 20s a few years back, and I was going "yeeeeep... that's a steal."
