I can't believe anybody argued T-Mac was the best player on this team..

Because boy, you guys better eat your crow. Because that is horsesh.it

T-Mac is pretty the 3rd best player on this team. But it's clear Yao Ming is the best and then it goes on from there.

I can't believe you didn't realize this a month ago when you created your username.

McGrady's play has been up and down for several years now. He's been injured on and off for about 7 years now.

By the way, I suggest people stop referring to him with a cool nickname. He doesn't deserve it. I may actually start calling him Lamar.

When he's healthy and not having a mood swing, Tracy is clearly the best player on the team.

I was kinda of thinking that too, well at least we know he isn't a TMAC-O-F.

To be honest Yao had better scoring/rebounding stats before he sat down for the season last year too, thinking Tmac should easily pass him up on that being the only main option afterward.

I just wish he would sit down until after the All Star break then slowly come back with a few minutes here and there.

He needs to sit also cause he doesnt deserve the game by game paychecks. We saw what he could do after a mall amount of rest so why not give him a big rest whether he likes it or not. Someone needs to put him in place.

And this wouldn't mean bring back Artest before healed up either. Let them both rest, **** rest Battier and Yao too. I can settle for 7th or 8th seed because lets face it if we're up against LAL, were not winning unless were ALL healthy, ponder that.

I've had the same thought many times. It doesn't bother me to hear it but it can get you banned if you go overboard. I learned that lesson going at it with Old Man Rock.

By the way, Tracy Lamar McGrady sucks and so does your username. ;)

    crow?

this place is literally unbearable right now.

why would anyone need to eat crow. he was clearly the best player on this team. he clearly no longer is at the moment for whatever reason you want to believe (injury, laziness, whatever, irrelevant).

not sure why anyone would need to eat crow on changing circumstances.

For someone to say that tmac wasn't by far the best player in the playoffs when it mattered each year would just show that you have no idea what your talking about

he hasn't been a top 3 player on the team this year (yao and brooks have been the 2 best players). but you'd be crazy if you think a nearly healthy and fully motivated tracy isn't the best player on this team. who else can go out there and give you nearly triple double every game and in teh playoffs.

right now, he has to find a way to get that knee back into shape as fast as possible b/c he looks terrible physically.

Dood, T-Mac is far and away the best player on the rockets team. When T-Macs putting forth the effort and intensity the rockets can go toe to toe with any team. How did they keep winning during the 22 game win streak when Yao went down?

fans only look at what have you done for me lately? and the past 2 games, tracy has looked more like a scrub than a star.

i think tracy is trying but he just looks TERRIBLE physically. but that's no excuse. he has battled this all year. he has to find a way to really get this knee and himself back into shape as fast as possible b/c we cannot waste these types of game anymore.

but it doesn't matter if tracy is "perceived" as the best or worst player on this team. if he doesn't play to his potential, we're NOT going anywhere (regardless if yao becomes the best big man on earth). tracy still has the key to this team as the car driver. either he has to put it in high gear real soon or else our seeding won't be as high.

    c'mon tracy, let's go.

I think this has everybody really frustrated. That game last night was there for the taking. T1, he still looks as if he needs to see a sports pyschocologist, someone that can help him get his head back on straight and help him throw caution to the wind.

i agree with this, not in the sense that he loses confidence in his game or anything. he just loses confidence in his health so easily.

remember the back problem in 05-06. dr. patterson said tracy is the most pessimistic person he had worked with in terms of his outlook on his health. and i think it's the same case right now. b/c the recovery has been so slow, he's down on his healthy and thus down on himself physically, which affects his game.

i think he just really needs a doctor right now who can talk some sense into him.

obviously the guy still has tons of game (the previous 6 games tell you so). but the inconsistency due to his health is frustrating yes. hopefully he can figure out a way soon. we can't be giving away games like this. we shold already have the 2nd seed locked up right now.

And lets be real you could still argue that T-mac is better than Ron Artest.

There is no way T-Mac is better than Yao anymore. It's not even a debate. When Healthy T-Mac is a Top 15 player at best....

Ron Artest and T-Mac are arguable. Yes, but T-mac and Yao are no longer arguable

T-Mac has been showing up in the playoffs the last 2 years. But It's not like Yao failed to appear in the 1st time against the Jazz.
