My co-worker has been playing Christmas music non-stop since we got back from Thanksgiving. I just can't stand it anymore. I really don't mind some of the songs, err correction, artists. Nearly all holiday songs suck. But when sung by John Lennon or Willy Nelson I can deal with it.
I think I have identified the ultimate problem; there aren't very many unique songs.

Sunny has played the following songs over and over non stop.

    Sleigh Ride
    Frosty The Snowman
    Silver Bells
    We Need A Little Christmas
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
    Christmas Time Is Here
    Winter Wonderland
    White Christmas
    Jingle Bell Rock
    Rockin Around the Christmas Tree
    Holly Jolly Christmas
All I want for Christmas is You

I'm gonna start playing my Green Day CD on 11 in a second....

La la la la, la la la la, la la la la, look at the bells. Holy crap here comes Jesus, and he doesn't look too happy.

I hate Christmas songs, too. I've just heard them so much that I can't stand them. However, I don't think I've heard any at all so far this year.

I like some of them but not all of them. I do not listen to them all the time during the season though. Any song gets old/annoying that way.

I like them for about 1-2 days. But man, this frontal assault on radio since October is killing me.

About half of them don't make me want to kill myself.

I like them in the background. I can't sit there and listen to Christmas carols like I would normal music.

I like X-mas songs, especially sing by the oldies, such as, Connie Francis, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Burl Ives, Dean Martin, & N'sync

I love me some Christmas Songs.

BUT, I think it's idiotic to play them more than 1 month before Christmas (ala that radio station doing it in Houston)

That is why I have a portable CD player with headphones - I can listen to whatever I want without worrying about hearing stuff I don't care for.

I like the carol of the bells. I HATE listening to carols on the radio, I dont know why it just annoys me to no end. You need to have the live experience to really enjoy it. For some sick reason I also like listening to sad Christmas songs, not sure why, but it always puts me in a better mood afterwards

To get all those sappy Christmas pop songs and bad arrangements of carols out of your head, listen to TSO's "Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24" (yes, again). That's one piece of Christmas music we should all be able to agree on. :)
