Good god.... He has paddle shifters and the gearbox on the floor. Can anyone shed any light as to why you would have both?

I don't think that was a gearbox. I'm guessing some sort of boost? Maybe something for traction control?
I think drifting is gay. A waste of some perfectly good tires. I understand the need for it in rally car racing, but I don't understand why you do it on asphalt.
