I went and watched this movie yesterday and I think Sean Penn gave the best performance I have seen in a long time. If you didn't know him, you would think he was mentally retarted in reality. Edward Norton played his mentally challenged part well in The Score, but nowhere near as well as Penn did in I am Sam. Just an absolutely great movie! If you haven't already seen it or if you are a little apprehensive about seeing it, take a chance and you will not be disappointed. P.S.-- I never realized that Michelle Pfeiffer was so HOT!!!
CC, how is it possible that you didnt know Michelle Pfifer was so hot?? i mean seriously. its not like she has been a B-list celebrity. she has been A-list for years, she is mainstreem. and is always refered to as hot. have you ever seen her in a movie before?? have you lived in a cave(or utah)?? i dunno. i am amazed by your statement. incidently. i saw her at a party out here in the hamptons once. i have to tell you that hot is not the best term for her apperance. i would use striking. she just kind of glows. amazing woman. and as attractive in person as on screen. maybe more so, as the camera takes away some of that sparkle. peace
I have seen her in numerous movies, but she just never did anything for me. She appears in a business suit throughout the whole movie, and I like women in uniform so maybe that was the attraction. Who knows? Maybe she is becoming more attractive with age....
the soundtrack to the movie is excellent...all remakes of beattles songs...the ben harper strawberry fields remake is excellent.
The second Batman movie sucked but to see Michelle Pfeiffer in that Catwoman outfit is well worth the horrible movie you have to watch. She is so hot.
