I am moving to Kyrgyzstan

    My wife and I are moving to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in August to teach at a US Consulate school. Great opportunity to explore the region (we can drive to China and India!). And although it will be hard to leave family and friends behind... the hardest part will be missing ROX games.

    I am hoping that someone on BBS will be able to post ROX games on bit torrent (if they already don't). In exchange, I will send back to you three things the "kyrgys" are famous for - fermented mares milk (all you can drink), a traditional nomadic kyrgy hat, and a bride! All for the low low price of each rocket basketball game (including playoffs!) posted on bit torrent!

    DD - I know I can count on you! Remember our days hooping at the Town Lake YMCA?!

    but you've been here since 06 you should know that R2K posts BTs of games usually 24-48 hours after it ends. hopefully you can get decent internet service there.

    It is basically an private school for american kids who's parents live in that country. they are all over the world where the US has embassies or consulates. kind of like the department of defense schools on military bases overseas. great pay and an amazing chance to see different parts of the world.

    I went on a holiday to Kyrgyzstan. I loved it. Bishkek is a nice city. Have fun there. I liked the hats which they had.
