Today in Austin, both the Texans and Titans are being shown and I discovered that if you record both and rewind them just a smidgeon you can watch both games by flipping back and forth.

I watch the Texans with the ball then when they score, flip over to watch the Titans and VY...and back and forth...never missing a play and missing all the commercials.

    DVR's ROCK !

WAAAAAAY too much time on your hands there, DaDa? ;)

I somewhat envy you, don't get to watch too much TV these days, working almost around the clock...

    It ain't heaven at halftime.

I know the Texans have been hit hard by the injury bug, but why does it look like (to me, anyway) that they've given up on this season?

They indeed rock! Don't get one, folks, unless you are prepared to keep paying for it, if you get it through your cable provider, like Time/Warner, in my case. Once you have them, you won't be able to stop. I zip through commercials, record things while watching others, kinda like DD is doing, and it's great to be able to freeze frame something as you're watching it. Use that for Californication all the time! ;)

(best new show on the tube, in my opinion  )

This Titans/Falcons game is one of the most torturous games I've ever watched. Neither team deserves to win.

If that's the way the Titans win then forget 'em. Vince was awful. If it weren't for their defense beating the snot out of Harrington and for Leftwich's blowing that wide open TD pass, it would have been tied at 20. Watching the bits and pieces of this game makes me even more disappointed we lost to the Falcons last week. What a waste!

    Vince stunk.....

But right now I think the Titans are a bit better than the Texans...the Titans defense is very impressive, especially up front.

They destroyed the Atlanta Falcons up front......

In the next could of weeks it is those DEFENSES that are the main worries
    Versus the Texans Offense

vince's leadership interceptions were the difference.

actually, it's kind of amazing they won considering they had 5 turnovers (one returned for a TD), essentially a 6th TO when the punter got tackled, and gave up a 76 yard KO return and 46 yard fake play on special teams. i guess that's what playing joey harrington and byron leftwich will do for you. you just burn the game tapes and move on and be happy you're 3-1.

this has not been a good game for the titans. brown fumbles the handoff when they're on the 35. vince underthrows a pass and gets picked when they were past midfield. then it turns out the TB guy stepped out on the second step of the INT, but the refs decided they weren't so much going to look at the replay as just stay with their original incorrect call. then the titans get 2nd and 5 and run twice up the middle as if they just wanted a fg instead of a TD, and now vince is hurt. shooting themselves in the foot left and right.

and as i type this they give up a 69 yd bomb to TB for a TD when they had double coverage. perfect.

Tough way to lose after the late touchdown to tie. Should have stopped them on 3rd and long and gotten the ball back in the last minute.
