I am disappointed at the Rockets. I know we are good guys and all but Luis was harrassed by THREE Lakers and then Fisher knocked him out. I didn't see anyone come even close to Scola to help or support or heck even break up the fight. All we did was complain to referee. HOW ABOUT FRIGGIN AT LEAST PUSH FISHER AWAY. No one gets suspended for chest bumps. But NOTHING. Sigh.. Maybe we are not as close knit as everyone thinks.

It does not matter. I believe in this team.
Think about 2002's spurs. At that time, even S.jackson was a good boy.

Dude chillax. This is not about the team's play, this was about the team's attitude at that given moment. If I was Scola, I would be upset at my teammates for not having my back while Lakers were all sticking together against him.

Rockets did the right thing nobody including the Lakers did nothing but talk once something physicallt happens to you all you can do is talk... because the guy that retaliates gets the worse suspicion Ron Artest knows all about that.

Houston players have class. We are not a gang or bunch of thugs. We need to keep our composure and stick with our game plan. Like in boxing, it's not the stronger or bigger person that always wins. It's the person who keeps his cool and keeps with his game plan.

they were smart not to do anything. it was an obvious flagrant foul and any retaliation by the rockets could've led to who knows what. i like that our guys were able to get in their heads. we could've easily won last night and that was with our best player being rendered ineffective due to foul trouble. not to mention an offensive spark off the bench not being available. the lakers are in for a world of hurt friday night.

I get it, we are not thugs. All I am saying, support your guy somehow. By breaking up the fight or even just bump Fisher away. You can't let one guy be bullied that way by the ENTIRE Lakers team.

What! Come on are you serious!
With those officials out there on the LA home court!
I was happy to see the “no response”.
Scola got up and the game went on, you don’t want or need to start a pushing match after something like that. I was glad that Ron didn’t come of the bench and start throwing punches.

It was not even about the Fisher foul, it was prior to that. When Odom, Walton and Farmar all got in Scola's grill mouthing off. We didn't do anything, no one came to Scola's side, not even to breakup the fight. Ang then that Fisher hit made it 4 of them! I felt bad for Scola. He fights so hard for the team every night (even though I thought he should have been substituted out early in the third by Adelman) and then gets bullied by the entire Lakers team.

I agree with this. I would have liked to see someone at least get in that little punk Fisher's face. No one seemed to take up for Scola. I'm not talking about starting a fight, just get in someone's face and let them know you're not going to take that. Also when Odom and Vujadouche were messing with Scola, no Rocket was anywhere to be found.

Don't get me started on the refs... fck Joey Crawford needs to go!! He has anger management issue. Did you hear him yell "WHAT!!" while the game was in play just coz someone from the Rockets bench had the gall to complain about aggressive Lakers fronting on Yao!? That dude needs serious help. He is just not a good fit to be a NBA ref.

Did you guys also see how APOLOGETIC he looked in front of Phil Jackson and the Lakers when he threw Derek Fisher out!?!? WHO CLEARLY HAD TO BE KICKED OUT. WTF.

Landry came by and the fact is the wrong people were on the court. If had Artest and maybe Hayes even Lowry than you have some warriors. Lowry helped earlier. But it is true all season long they have been slow to defend.

I totally respect this Rocket team. They play the game fair and square but today is not the day for fair and square. Today is the day for MEN IN RED to RISE UP!. To RISE UP and demand respect, to RISE UP and join hands and elbows and fist if necessary and FIGHT.

Yao ming said it best, "I guess this is what the playoffs is, fighting, we have to fight back." There is no more guessing the Rockets absolutely have to fight back but do it with class and hardplay and within the rules of the game albeit stretching those rule as much as necessary but not going crazy.

And let us as PROUD HOUSTON ROCKET BLEEDING RED FANS stand up and fight with them. Showing class but at the same time throwing some popcorn and soda on the dirty players!!! RISE UP HOUSTON! Let the war games begin!!!!!!!!!!

I see what you're saying and part of me agrees with it.

But the other part of me thinks it's good that the Rockets didn't respond to the Fakers OBVIOUS attempts at baiting us. Because that's all they were trying to do. Bait us.

Actually, I'm pretty damn proud of the way our team kept their relative composure.

I love the Laker's spin machine.

"The Rocket's will be a cakewalk, 4-0, 5-1 at best"

"We beat ourselves and it's not as bad as it looks"

"This series is just priming us for the championship"

    "We're TOUGH now"

For a team that was supposed to "blow us out" they sure are acting like they need all the cheap tricks just to stay with us at HOME.

Real toughness beats fake cheapshots all day.

Tracy would've stepped up. Because if Artest beven breathed on fishsticks. He woulda got thrown out for the rest of the series

Nope, they were trying to bully us coz they were called soft after the first game. We can spin it and call it bait, but its obvious they wanted to prove that they are tough by pushing us around with low cheap blows. And they got away with it. I blame the damn refs for it.

But again I am not naive to think that this was the reason we lost.
